Royston’s garbage collection is for one can of garbage per week, as well as unlimited recycling bi-weekly. Tags for additional garbage containers can be purchased at the Comox Valley Regional District office. Starting January 1, 2021, the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre will be closed all provincially recognized statutory holidays and collection services will not be provided on these days. This change has been reflected in the Royston collection schedule. Note that in the week following a statutory holiday two cans of garbage will be accepted.     Line it up. Keep 1m (3ft) between your recycling container and your garbage bin.

    Keep it clean. Empty and rinse all containers.

    Flatten and cut. If your cardboard is too large for your collection container, flatten and cut down to smaller pieces. Stack beside recycling collection container. Remember to keep plastic wrap out of your recycling!
