ALWAYS CHRISTMAS!

People of many different nationalitiescelebrate Christmas. People usually celebratethis festival on 25th December, but somepeople celebrate Christmas 365 days a year!

In Finland, in the north of Europe, Santa Claus(or Pap Noel) is very popular, because manypeople think Santa Claus comes from Finland. InSanta Claus Village, its always Christmas. Everyday, people there get up, have breakfast andthen start the celebrations again! The villagehas got a lot of Christmas shops andrestaurants with Christmas food for visitors.Some people eat one, two or three Christmasdinners a day!

ELEPHANTS

No animals are bigger than whales, butelephants are bigger than all the animals on the

land. There are elephants in India and Africa.Indian elephants are a bit smaller, and theyvealso got smaller ears!

SUDBURY VALLEY SCHOOL

Sudbury Valley School in Massachusetts, USA,is an unusual school. Every day, students theredo their favourite activities. If they hatemaths, they dont study it. They go to anotherclass!

Students at the school can study a lot ofdifferent subjects, like science, history,geography and art. Students can choose to dohomework, but some prefer not to do any!

Some students choose not to go to manyclasses. Instead, they go to drama practice orplay an instrument, or they check emails andplay games in the computer room. THE SMALL VILLAGE WITH THE BIG NAME

Many places have got unusual names. InEngland, you can visit Dog Village in the south

and Worlds End in the north! The name of onevillage in Scotland has only got two letters: Ae!But one village in Wales has got a reallydifficult name:Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrn-drobwllllantysiliogogogoch! This is longer thanall the place names in Europe!
