Additional Notes - Conference spaces 1 and 2 have retractable walls, which allow the adjoining rooms to be converted into 1 larger conference space. This is also the case with conference spaces 3 and 4. Please note level 9 has a maximum capacity of 188.

How to Book - Booking requests can be made directly through Resource Booker – https://bookings.westernsydney.edu.au/ Final approval for space usage will be provided by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. You will be contacted to provide further information regarding your event should it be required. Once your request has been reviewed by Western Sydney University stakeholders, you will be advised of any space usage charges such as logistics, cleaning and security.

Audio Visual & IT Requirements – Within each space the following equipment is available for use - Microphone, lectern & large screen with wired input or in room PC (Level 9 projector screens are capable of being linked upon prior request to ITDS) All IT/AV equipment is managed by ITDS directly. We strongly recommend you test the set up before your event. To arrange IT support in the rooms, please contact the ITDS helpdesk on 9852 5111 or Ext 5111. IT support can also be arranged via the IT Portal – https://uws.service-now.com/Portal/

Floor Plan & Access to Conference Rooms - The conference rooms, terrace, lounge and kitchen are accessible via the internal lift only.

Kitchen & Catering -

Kitchen access is available by requesting the space (1.9.23/24) through Resource Booker.

Please note that there are no other kitchens available for catering use in the building.

When engaging the services of external caterers please ensure a copy of their public liability (certificate of currency)

is obtained with a minimum $20 million liability.

Please note the kitchen is a warming and holding facility only, with the following equipment:

o Stainless steel service trolley

o Stainless steel dirty dish trolley

o Microwave oven

o Under counter refrigerator

Room & Furniture Configurations -

Where possible, we strongly advise utilization of the standard configuration of the conference rooms.

If you require additional set up or pack down time, please ensure this time is factored in when requesting the space.

Should your event require an alternate configuration please provide a detailed description of the desired layout/set

up along with your cost centre and project code to [email protected]

This information is required (at a minimum) 10 business days prior to event.

Cleaning -

All spaces are cleaned daily, however additional cleaning fees may apply

Security - Should you require assistance from security, please call 9683 8111.

Concierge & Building Services Manager -

A concierge service is provided on the ground floor between 8am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

Signage -

Digital signage outside each of the confirmed conference rooms will reflect the name of the event you provide when

booking the facilities on resource booker.
