Orientation of new Key Officers FY 2014/20• The immediate past key officers explained the duties and

responsibilities of their respective posts to the in-comingKey Officers.



Award Presentation Ceremony• An award presentation ceremony was held during our school’s

assembly and was witnessed by all the teachers and students. Ourprincipal, Miss Hajah Hasimah gave away the award certificates tothe award receivers and Past President Joel handed over theExcellent Club Award banner to Miss Hajah Hasimah.

Handover Ceremony• A handover ceremony was held during school

assembly. The immediate past key officers handedover the club’s files to the new key officers and ourschool principal, Miss Hajah Hasimah pinned thenametags on the new key officers’ Leo vests.

Handover of Family Tree

• The past key officers handed overthe family trees to the new keyofficers. This is another form ofgiving responsibilities to the keyofficers in continuing the successof our Leo Club and to achieve theobjectives of the club.



Leo Garden Maintenance• Leos went to the Leo Garden

together with the faculty advisors.We watered the family trees andput the fertiliser so that the treescan grow healthily. Leos workedtogether to keep our garden inpristine condition as a symbol ofour club’s unity and fruitfulness.



Farewell Dinner forYouth Exchanges from Japan

• Leo Christie, Leo Kuscera &Leo Gloria attended theFarewell Dinner for YouthExchanges from Japan atGrand Palace Hotel. Leos had a

great farewell with Lions, 4Japanese YEs and Leos fromother Leo Clubs.

• On the first dayof Hari Rayacelebration,teachers, facultyadvisor and Leosof Kolej Tun DatuTuanku HajiBujang visited the

school’s principal,Lion Hasimah’shouse.



1st Zone Meeting with Lions and Leos fromRegion 3 of District 308 A2

• Our 3 main key officers, Leo President Cielyne Dominic, Leo SecretaryChristie Tan & Leo Treasurer Gloria Kulang attended the First ZoneAdvisory Meeting on the 6 th of August 2014 held at Miri Hua Zong Meeting

Room, Jee Foh Road, Miri.

Peringkat Daerah Miri 2014• On the 8 th until the 9 th

Lions & Leos Orientation andClub Officers Training 2014

• On the 10 th ofAugust 2014, ourclub's key officersattended the Lions& Leos Orientation& Club OfficersTraining 2014organized by oursponsoring LionsClub, The Lions

Club of Miri Host.The event was heldin Dynasty Hotel.



Leadership Camp• Two Leos from our Leo Club, Leo

Alicia Tan and Leo VanessaNading attended the leadershipcamp organized by our school atGua Niah Miri.



National-level Cluster Schools Carnival 201for Sarawak, Sabah & Labuan zone

• One of our Leo members, Leo Nicole was represented our schoolto attend the cluster schools carnival at SMK Methodist Sibu



2nd Lion BOD Meeting

• Three KeyOfficers attendedthe BOD meetingon 19th August2014 to presenttheir respectivereports of themonth. After theBOD meeting,

Lions and Leoscelebrated LionWong Yew Hui’sbirthday together



Participation in Pesta Tanjong Kolej 201•

Pesta Tanjong is one ofour school’s annualactivities. The OrganisingChairperson for thisfundraising project isLeo Esther Martin.

• During Pesta Tanjong, ourLeo club sold handicraftsfrom PDK Miri, andcupcakes to the parents,teachers, staffs andstudents.

• Our club managed toraise RM329. The fundraised will be donated toPDK Miri in the futureproject.



Farewell Dinner forYouth Exchanges from Taiwan

•

3 Leos from our Leo club had attended the Farewell Dinner for YouthExchanges from Taiwan hosted by 8 Lions Club of Miri which was heldat Grand Palace Hotel on the 23rd of August 2014. They managed tomeet and greet with 2 youth exchanges from Taiwan and establishedgood rapport with Lions and other Leo Clubs’ members during thedinner.



Participation in school’s Hari Raya Celebratio(RIMUP RAYA)

• A celebration was held in school to celebrate Hari Raya togetherwith all the school communities. This is to build rapport amongthe students of different races and cultures.



Participation in school’s Sports Day 201

• Our school Sport Day was held at Stadium Miri.Teachers and students had fun and it was a greatway to build a good relationship among the school’scommunity.



Joint Lions and Leos Initiation and Installation• This ceremony was held at Eastwood Valley, Miri where Lionsand Leos were officially initiated and inducted. Our Guest of

Honour was DG Dato Betty Wong. Leo Club of Kolej TDTHBujang have total of 20 newly inducted members and installed 16BOD members for the fiscal year 2014/2015



Joint Lions and Leos Banquet Night•

8 Leos from our club attended the Banquet Night. The Leos managed tohave a great fellowship with Lions and Leos from other Leo Clubs thatattended the dinner.



Ambang Kemerdekaan Kolej 2014• Our Leo Club

participated in theschool’s AmbangKemerdekaan. Leosmanaged to strethenthe bonds betweenthem with theteachers and studentsof Kolej TDTH Bujangduring the event. Theevent was held at theschool’s hall.

Merdeka Cheer 2014• Themed “Instilling Care for the

Needy” Merdeka Cheer aimed tobring cheer and happiness to 25underprivileged hostel students ofKolej TDTH Bujang in conjunctionwith the Merdeka CelebrationMonth and Malaysia Day.

•

These students were sponsored ameal each at KFC, Bintang Megamalland a few games at Megalanes EastMiri, Bintang Megamall and someamount of donation in cash to lessentheir burden.

• Lion President Peter Ling, LionSecretary Peter Yong, Lion 1 st VicePresident PP John Ling, Lion PPCharlie Ma, Dr. Michael Teo YuKeng, Leo Advisor PP Diana Yeohwere present during the event tobring cheer to the hostel students.



National Level 51st Malaysia Day Celebrationheld at Miri City Fan

• A number of 6 Leos and severalstudents of Kolej TDTH Bujangwere participated in the HariMalaysia celebration.



3rd Lions BOD Meeting

• The BODs of KolejTDTH Bujang’s Leo Clubattended the meeting

and presented theirreports respectively.After that, the Lionsand Leos celebrated LionJohn Ling and Lion HiiTeck Yun’s birthday

together.



Help for Peace Poster Competition held atPermaisuri Mall Miri

• Leo Cielyne, Leo Gloriaand Leo Kusceravolunteered to lend ahand for the PeacePoster Competitionorganized by Lion PPJohn Ling

Book Donation in conjunction withInternational Literacy Day

• This project aimed to add more variety of books in the school library andinculcate reading culture among the students.

• The organising chairperson, Leo Zuniga presented the books worth RM300 tothe school principal during the assembly.

• The book donation project was witnessed by all students and teachers of KolejTDTH Bujang
