Spreading Technology Spreading consists of 2 operations

1 Channelization operation which transforms data symbols into chips. Thus increasing the bandwidth of the signal,.The number of chips per data symbol is called the Spreading Factor SF .The operation is done by multiplying with OVSF code. 1 Scrambling operation which is done for spreadin signal .
