GOLEADOR Training™The ball launcher that’s revolutionizing the world of football!
FIFA WORLD CUP 2014 in Brasil
During the 2014 Brazil World Cup the Goleador Training™ is being demonstrated in the fi nal phases (4th to the 16th of July 2014) at SO-5,the football academy created by three Frenchmen on the roof of a building in the legendary Botafogo quarter of Rio.
SO-5 is also the Offi cial Paris- Saint-GermainTM Academy in Brazil.

The GOLEADOR Training™ ball launcher is a motorized mechanical machine that is both innovative and
autonomous, able to propel a ball over 45 metres, repeatedly and precisely,
at various angles and trajectories, closely recreating the technical
movements of a player kicking the ball.
The method used: an armed launcher driven by two motors, fi tted at the end with a freely rotating roller, made of a
particular material, hits the ball that crosses the fi ring line, which is itself
adjustable, launching it out on its selected trajectory at the desired power.
With its patented technology, the GOLEADOR Training™ is the only
machine in the world capable of perfectly reproducing a player’s
strike on impact with the ball. It does not shove, push or eject the ball, but it identically and precisely
reproduces a player’s kick of the ball with absolute accuracy, for a desired
trajectory, distance and power, all at a high frequency and
all remotely controllable.
Some of the world’s major footballplayers have tested and/or approved
GOLEADOR TRAINING™. Including: Jean Pierre Papin,
Jean-Michel LARQUE, Franck Ribery, Luis Fernandez, Joan Gardiola,
Elie Baup, Fabien Barthes,Raul Gonzalez, Christian Karembeu...
have all agreed that there is an interest in such a machine.

WORDS FROM A PRO:
Former professional football player:402 games with St Etienne from 1966 to 1977 (scoring 101 goals) - 18 caps for France - Coach for PSG TM and RC PARIS, journalist and sports commentator.
The GOLEADOR Training TM is a great tool! Just as all modern cars now have GPS, all training centers and professional clubs should have this training tool [...] the problem with training at the moment is that when practising in front of the goal, working on volleys for example, the balls coming in have to be usable and so we waste a lot of time and energy getting the kicks right. To be sure of having 30 usable kicks in header practice is an incomparable effi ciency boost...” (RMC radio).

Their complementary skills have led both partners to come up with a
training method based around using a ball launcher to repeatedly launch
footballs. This lets professionals practice specifi c actions and thus
improve their « muscle memory » in the course of player training.
Like all team ball sports, football involves the learning of basic
movements, forming the basis of all advanced techniques in the future.
The practice of these movements is indispensable and only a ball launcher,
specifi cally designed for high-level players and training, can offer this.
As surprising as it may seem, the world of football, the world’s biggest sport, has had very little in the way of technological development in recent decades in terms of refe-reeing, educational tools and training sessions to improve players’ technical progress. As such, training sessions have remained more or less the same for the last 30 years.It was still the same for refereeing techniques until “goal line technology” emerged at the current FIFA World Cup 2014.
Based on this observation and onintensive training practice, the aim of the partners was to create a toolsuitable for all skill levels and userrequirements (coaches, players andtrainers).

1 of the partners was to create a toolsuitable for all skill levels and userrequirements (coaches, players andtrainers).
It took years of research and development to design the most advanced ball launcher of its generation. It’s name: GOLEADOR TrainingTM
Getting a modern football from point A to point B is usually not a problem in itself. Shoving, pushing or ejecting it is easy! But striking it with precision on impact, for a prede-termined distance and power, has never been achieved.

2 The few machines on the market that can launch balls, such as ten-nis or the oval-shaped American footballs, have inspired companies to provide machines that launch footballs.
All of these techniques were stu-died in the early R&D phases of the GOLEADOR TrainingTM unit.
None of them had reached the per-fect functionality we were looking for, a strike quality that closely mi-mics that of the human foot and the resulting trajectory.
Therein lies the challenge that SDDS Corporation set itself; a challenge it has risen to and overcome.
It has taken more than 5 years to achieve the perfect ball strike, one that matches the movements of a human foot;
Nearly 10 models and prototypes built;
A dozen fi eld trials were conduc-ted with professional clubs and federations (including FC Barce-lona, French Football Federation and Olympique de Marseille);
3 patents have been fi led for the technical concept, of which 2 in-ventions are protected internatio-nally.
