New South Wales is a state in the east of Australia.

It is bordered by Queensland, Victoria and South Australia to the north, south and west respectively. To the east, the state is bordered by the Tasman Sea, which is part of the Pacific Ocean.

The estimated population is 7,238,819, which is approximately 34.5% of the population of Australia

THE CAPITAL :SYDNEY

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous in Australia.

It is located on Australia's south-east coast of the Tasman Sea.

As of June 2010, the greater metropolitan area had an approximate population of 4.6 million people.

Inhabitants of Sydney are called Sydneysiders, comprising a cosmopolitan and international population.

NATIONAL PARKS

New South Wales has more than 780 national parks and reserves covering more than 8% of the state.

These parks range from rainforests, spectacular waterfalls, rugged bush to marine wonderlands and outback deserts, including World Heritage areas.

MONUMENTS:GOLDEN GUITAR

The Big Golden Guitar is one of the many "big" attractions that can be found around Australia.

The Golden Guitar was erected in front of the famous Longyard Hotel on the Sydney Road in 1988.

The Golden Guitar stands approximately 12 meters high and weighs over 500 kilograms.
