Startup Braga is an innovation hub designed
to assist the inception and development of
high potential entrepreneurial projects for
international markets.

2014 edition managed to raised

even before the demo day.

We focus on startups that develop
Mobile, e-Commerce, MedTech
and NanoTech products.
During the program, startups are expected to
iterate rapidly but at their own pace,
according to their maturity and need while
receiving intensive mentoring, training and
guidance by specialist in technical and
business aspects.

Week 1 - 3: Define
In the first 4 weeks, the teams will have access to workshops on
Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup. Using the knowledge
and the tools, the teams will then focus on validating the problem
and the solution.
Week 4 - 9: Build
In the second phase of the program, the teams will be focused on
building, testing and validating the minimum viable product and
collecting and incorporating the feedback of potential clients.
Week 10 - 12: Pitch
The last two weeks, will be spent on preparing the pitch and all the
documentation necessary for potential partners and investors.

ASSIGNMENTS
Milestones, mandatory readings and assignments between the
bootcamps to make sure the teams follow the roadmap.
ENGAGEMENT
Sharing of the learnings made throughout the program with the
other participants.
TOOLS
Business Model Canvas methodology and the Lean Startup
methodology.
Optional use of LeanMonitor (leanmonitor.com)
OFFICE-HOURS
The teams will be supported by mentors.

Week 1 - 3: Define
There will be 4 Bootcamps that will allow the teams to work on the
several blocks of the Business Model and will allow them to have a
clear vision of the problem and the market.
BOOTCAMPS:
Deep training using the proposed methodologies;
Hands-on approach to build and iterate business models;
Knowledge and experience sharing;
Case studies discussion.

Week 4 - 9: Build
Teams will be focused on building, fine tuning, testing and
validating the minimum viable product and collect and incorporate
the feedback of potential customers.

Week 10 - 12: Pitch & Negotiate
