Mrs. Ginn stated that her car, 2015 Silver Nissan Altima Ga tag registered to Tarre Ginn, was parked in the parking lot of Smart Furniture and DosBros on 1700 Broad st. Mrs. Ginn said that her car was last seen in that parking lot around 14:00-15:00 hours on 10/24/2020. Mrs. Ginn informed police that her car had some identifying marks on it. Mrs. Ginns vehicle had a black scratch on the front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle also had a dent on the driver side rear door. Mrs. Ginn also said that her graduation tassel was hanging from her rear view mirror. Police used this information to put Mrs. Ginns vehicle into NCIC, NIC # V682439603. Holcomb (82264) reported a memo at 5709 Lee Highway. I responded to a disorder at SkyZoo upon arriving on scene the complainant stated she and her boyfriend got into a argument but the boyfriend left the scene. On 10/25/2020 at 02:50 hours, police responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 1615 Cowart St. On arrival Police made contact with the victim, Macayla Ginn. I responded to a disorder at SkyZoo upon arriving on scene the complainant stated she and her boyfriend got into a argument butthe boyfriend left the scene. We had witnesses state that she hit the boyfriend, but we had no victim on scene to verify that. No further.

Allen (123) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 3502 Wilcox Blvd. Officers were on scene at a residential fire (20-108329) when a red Nissan Maxima (TN, ) traveling South on Tunnel Blvd ran over a charged fire hose ($1,000) that stretched across the street. The driver, Ms. Tasherryia Owens, stated that she did not see the hose laying across the road. CFD requested a report be created for accidental property damage. Mr. Holberdoes not agree with the cost to have the vehicle released to back to him and wanted documentation of Airport Wrecker price of $200.

On 10/30/2020 at 12:46 hours, Officer E Buckman (66981) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle. I released the vehicle to the lawful owner, Amberia Carroll on 10/30/2020. The owner stated there were belongings inside the vehicle which were not hers. I told the owner to sort through the belongings and anything which was not hers box up and i would come pick them up. A TN ID and TN tag was turned into property due to them not belonging to Ms. Carroll.

The Police recovered a wallet found in the Kankus Convience Store which belongs to a Mr. Kyle Adkins, the wallet was turned into the property room for safe keeping until the owner can be notified.

On 10/25/2020 at 12:55 hours, Officer Hauge (79528) responded to a Trespass of Real Property at 2020 Gunbarrel Rd. Wal-Mart staff called stating a B/M with red hat, white shirt, and blue pants was asked to leave the store because he was yelling and cursing a Wal-Mart staff but the part was refusing to leave. When police arrived the party had left Wal-Mart and was headed Southon Gunbarrel Rd. Police got out with the party who was ID'ed as Mr. Caldwell. Police asked Mr. Caldwell what he was doing and he began cursing and talking out of his head. Police told Mr. Caldwell he was trespassed from the Wal-Mart and was not to return for any reason. Mr. Caldwell left without any incident.

On 10/25/2020 at 14:00 hours, Officer Hicks (68400) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 1803 Vance Ave and spoke to Clay Henley and Melissa Whitaker who stated that an unknown black male suspect on video had stolen approx. $10 in coins fromMr. Henley and $20 in coins from Ms. Whitaker at approx. 0718 hours this morning.

On 10/25/2020 at 15:15 hours, Officer Officer Buys (83678) responded to suspicious person at 4503 Highway 58. Upon arrival, located a man moving the outside trash can around. The man identified as James Reel, James was saying that Starbucks wanted him to pick up trash for them. Starbucks is closed for the day and the cleaners stated they did not ask Reel to pick up trash.

After speaking with the Starbucks Manager, Casey Jones, he stated that Mr. Reel comes on the property often and is sometimes disorderly. Casey stated he would like James Reel trespassed from the property. Nothing further at this time.

4126 Mountain Creek Rd20-108459 10/25/2020 6:00:00AM 240 MVT/Motorcycle

On 10/25/2020 at 07:55 hours, Officer B. Martin (62436) responded to a MVT/Motorcycle at 4126 Mountain Creek Rd.. I met with Charles Salyers, around 1530, after he arrived home and discovered his motorcycle was stolen. Salyers described the bike as a 2016 Kawasaki Z800, all black with bright green accents. I entered the bike into NCIC using NIC #V182404330. A pair of bolt cutters were left at the scene of the theft.

The morning, around 0730, we received a auto theft in progress at 4126 Mountain Creek Rd. complaint number 20-108351. The 406 in that call is listed as Danny Burch. I've provided his number in this report. Burch reported a burgundy Ford F150 extended cab driving back and forth on Reads Lake Rd. several times. He then reported seeing two males pushing a motorcycle out onto Reads Lake Rd. from Day lily Trail. Burch told police that he thought the driver was a female. He said the driver had blond hair and that it was pulled up on top.

On 10/25/2020 at 15:55 hours, Officer Gross (84850) reported a intoxicated party at 7338 Mccutcheon Rd. Police spoke with complainant Eduardo Poloche who stated that Barbara Wolff had consumed too much alcohol to drive home. Police then spoke with Ms. Wolff who was visibly intoxicated. Ms. Wolff arranged for her brother to pick her up from Drakes restaurant. Ms. Wolff leftwith her brother without incident. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/25/2020 at 17:50 hours, Officer Gross (84850) responded to a Property Lost at 2351 Shallowford Village Dr. Police spoke with victim Peyton Smith who stated that he had left his car keys and wallet containing an unknown number of cards and an unknown amount of currency in Jada Lankford's vehicle. Mr. Smith has not been able to contact Ms. Lankford after she had drivenaway. Police were unable to make contact with Ms. Lankford at the phone number provided. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/25/2020 at 18:02 hours, Officer Ampthor (73492) responded to a Disorder at 1512 S Holtzclaw Ave. Chattanooga Rescue Mission informed police they wanted suspect Mr. Travis Borkman to leave the premises for not adhering to their rules. Police spoke with Mr. Borkman and explained why he was being asked to leave. Mr. Borkman asked for a ride to a hotel and police were more than happy to take him somewhere to stay for the night to get him off of the streets. Police asked Mr. Borkman where he would like to go and took him to Days Inn in downtown Chattanooga. The hotel was fully booked so police asked him where else he would like to go. Police transported Mr. Borkman to Red Roof Inn which was not far from the first location. There were also two other hotels across the street. Police wished Mr. Borkman the best of luck. No further police action could be taken at this time.

On 10/25/2020 at 18:30 hours, Officer C. Darling responded to a Shoplifting at 490 Greenway View Dr. (Walmart). LP employee Timothy Dunn and I observed a white male select clothing items from inside the store and put them on. We then observed the male exit the store passing all points of sale without paying for the items. I made contact with the male in the parking lot. The malehad got into the front passenger seat of his girlfriends car. The male was asked to step out of the car and I observed in plain view a bag of suspected marijuana. The female driver was asked what the bag contained and she stated that it contained weed and that it was the males. I then confiscated the suspected marijuana and escorted the male to the LP office. The male stated that themarijuana was his girlfriends and he was sorry for stealing the clothes. Once at the LP office the male was identified as Justin Carter and walmart recovered their property. Justin Carter stated that his girlfriends name is Jenifer Smith with an approximate age of 26. Mr. Carter stated that he is currently homeless and sleeps in the vehicle with his girlfriend in motel/hotel parking lots. Walmart did not wish to prosecute in this matter. I attempted to make contact with Jenifer Smith in the parking lot but she was not found. The marijuana was turned into property for disposal. No further

On 10/26/2020 at 00:22 hours, Officer Wiegand (84865) was dispatched to a disorder at 3607 Cummings Hwy. Upon arrival police met with the complainant Mark Watts who stated his girlfriend had been threating him and that he wants her out of his house. Police spoke with the girlfriend Michele Lindsey who stated she was not threating his and that she is taking some of her belongings and leaving. Ms. Lindsey stated she would be back for the rest of her belongings later. Nothing further

On 10/26/2020 at 00:43 hours, Police arrived at a call for a suspicious person at 1106 E 10th St. Police arrived on the scene and made contact with the complainant, Mrs. Worrell. Mrs. Worrell stated that her friend was outside and a Black male, Possibly intoxicated, asked to use their wifi, and then asked if he could pray over her. Mrs. Worrell stated that her friend went inside and that's when they called the police. Police searched the area but did not locate any suspicious person or activity. No further incident to report.

On 10/26/2020 at 07:32 hours, Officer J.Hamilton (66984) reported a memo at 2014 Hamilton Place Blvd. Upon arrival i spoke with complainant Chris Eaker. Mr. Eaker, who is an employee at the hotel, wanted to report a suspicious vehicle that was observed on security camera driving around the hotel parking lot trying to get into parked vehicles. Mr. Eaker said that on camera he observed a 2017-18 White Nissan Altima with black wheels drive through the lot. He also said another Altima drove through aswell. He further said that 7 or 8 B/Ms ran to different vehicles attempting to and opening doors. He said that according security camera footage, the suspects arrived at 0327 and left at 033 hrs. Mr. Eaker reported that two vehicles on the lot had the doors open but he could not identify which guests the vehicles belonged too. He pointed the vehicles out to me and I notated that a black Denali with FL tag# and a gold Ford Explorer with TN tag# were the ones he pointed out as having doors open. I did observe that both vehicles had the center console and glove compartments open. However, without knowing who the vehicles in the hotel belonged to a theft report could not be made at the time of this report. Pending contact by the victim owners of each vehicle there is nothing further to report.

On 10/26/2020 at 08:35 hours, Officer J.Hamilton (66984) responded to a Theft from Building at 6800 Ferdinand Piech Way. Upon arrival I spoke with victim/complainants Austin Smith and Brandon Burrows. Mr. Smith and Burrows are co-owners of constructioncompany "Custom Cabinet Designs" and are at the new build Harrison Elementary work site doing work for the school. They needed to report that their company equipment tools were stolen from a work cabinet in the east wing of the school at some pointduring the weekend. The tools stolen were: Makita wireless drill x4, Makita hammer drill, Bosch laser level, 5 Amp Hr battery's x3, 4 Amp Hr battery's x4, RIGID Jigsaw, and a Makita multi-port battery charging station. Neither victim had a suspect description. The tools were kept in a construction work cabinet on the work site that was locked, but they said the doors could be easily pulledopen. There was no reported damage to the cabinet. At the time of this report neither victim had serial numbers for any of the listed equipment however, they did say that all the tools had their initials engraved on them. The initials are "AS" "BB" or "CCD". Pending further information from the victims there is nothing further to report.

On 10/26/2020 at 09:35 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 271 Northgate Mall Dr at Northgate Mall. The victim said that he left his vehicle parked at the side of Belk store between 2:30 pm & 4:15 pm yesterday while he was in the mall. When he got back to the vehicle, he discovered damage (dent) on the passenger side rear door. He saidno estimate has yet been done, so it's unknown if it will be over or under $400. He said there were no cameras where his vehicle was parked and so there is no proof of how the damage was done or if it was intentional or accidental. This report was taken by phone. 2014 Hamilton Place Blvd20-108759 10/26/2020 3:27:00AM 23F Theft from Motor Vehicle

On 10/26/2020 at 10:48 hours, Officer J.Hamilton (66984) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 2014 Hamilton Place Blvd. I spoke with complainant/victim Kay Neidlinger over the phone. Mrs. Neidlinger said that her vehicle, black Denali FL# , was broken into overnight while it sat in the Hampton Inn parking lot. She said that the only item that was taken was her work laptop, a Microsoft Surface Pro 5 valued at $1700. To her knowledge, the doors of the vehicle were locked. I answered a call at this location earlier in the shift regarding suspicious activity and have attached the narrative from that report ( OCN#20-108705- Mr. Eaker, who is an employee at the hotel, wanted to report a suspicious vehicle that was observed on security camera driving around the hotel parking lot trying to get into parked vehicles. 3821 14th Ave20-108765 10/26/2020 11:05:00AM 23F Theft from Motor Vehicle

On 10/26/2020 at 11:20 hours, Officer Sanchez (73514) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 3821 14th Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Nathan Carlson ( who explained that the key fob to his rental vehicle was taken from the car. Nathan stated that he rented the car from Dollar Car Rentals, and the vehicle is a grey Chrystler 300 (VIN of 2C3CCABTXLH217254). Nathan parked his car in front of his friend's house at this location and left it running and unlocked because he was only going to be inside for a few minutes. When he was inside, he was able to see through the front window that a young black male (approximately 14 years of age) entered the vehicle and began rummaging around the contents. Nathan came out of the house yelling at the individual, and the male took off running with the key fob to the vehicle. Nathan stated that he did not believe that the male was trying to steal the car, but rather going through the contents. The male was wearing black sweatpants and a white shirt. He took off running south on 14th Ave, and got into an unknown grey 4-door vehicle. There is nothing further.

Justin stated to police that there was a homeless man with a bicycle that looked suspiciously like the one his son had stolen several days later. Police spoke with Keith Nosis who stated he bought the bike several months ago and that it was nostolen. Police explained to Justin that without some type of proof or serial number nothing could be done in returning the bike to him. Justin did not make a report and got in his vehicle and left before police could get any further info.

Mr. Allanson said the vehicle listed above was parked beside his vehicle and opened the door into his vehicle creating a small chip in his paint. Mr. Allanson was able to get the registration from the vehicle before they left the scene and police added the information to the report. Nothingfurther.

The victim said that she received a call from her bank at 3:51 pm yesterday about an ATM withdrawal transaction that happened around that same time. She said she found out that someone had used her debit card number to withdraw $400 from her account at the ATM there. She said she still has her card and she has no idea who did this. She doesn't know if any video wascaught but she spoke to the Fraud Dept there and they told her she would need a police report before they could let her see the video. This report was taken by phone.

On 10/26/2020 at 17:05 hours, Officer Christopher Liberto (79560) and Officer Rogers (86062) responded to a carjacking at 2219 E 26th Street Ct. I arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant (Alexus Careathers). Ms. Careathers stated that her ex boyfriend ( Jarrett Watson) had tried to steal her car after he came to her home and was banging on the door and shouting for her to come out. Mr. Watson and Ms. Careathers at one time shared the vehicle and he was allowed to drive. Based on this information I determined that a carjacking did not occur. Ms. Careathers stated she no longer wanted to allow him to drive her vehicle (Black Nissan Rogue). When asked if Mr. Watson had ever hit her or hurt her Ms. Careathers stated he had "put his handson her" but she did not believe he was ever going to hurt her. I could not see any marks or signs of a struggle between the two parties. Mr. Watson was not on scene when police arrived and could not be located in the surrounding areas. She told me that the packages were addressed to her, but she had no idea who was ordering them. She told me that she just wanted to report the incident since she thought it was weird. Nothing in the packages seemed strange, she told me that it was phone cases, bottle, etc. No further action was needed.

PLUNKETT (079536) reported a memo at 801 E 11th St.Police were called to the above location on a suspicious vehicle call, upon arrival, police made contact with a white male in a brown in color Astro van. That vehicle bared CO tag# a white male identified as Mr. Vincent Malecki. Was inside of the vehicle. Police asked Mr. Malecki to step out of the vehicle. Police asked Mr. Malecki what he was doing parked on the side of thestreet and explained that they had been called on him for relieving himself on private property. Malecki began to ramble and stated that he was from Colorado and was staying in Chattanooga until it started to snow then he would move further south.Police explained that if he wanted to do that it wasn’t illegal to do so, however it was illegal to trespass on private property and to urinate and defecate on private property. Police explained that the property owner identified as Mr. Morris stated that he did not want Malecki on his property. Malecki was made aware that he was trespassed from the property as of 10/26/2020. Malecki was ran through NCIC and returned with no wants or warrants, he did not have a valid DL. On 10/26/2020 at 23:37 hours, Officer Mark Livesay (79884) reported a memo at 4100 Fagan St. Police attempted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Trail Blazer at this location. When the vehicle stopped the driver and front passenger fled on foot but the back passenger (Tarek Baker) stayed with the vehicle. Police interviewed Mr. Baker and found no laws being broken by him. The vehicle ignition system was drilled out and the vehicle clearly hot wired. There were 3 live bullets in the back seat floor board behind the driver's seat of the vehicle as well. There was an attempt to locate the owner of the vehicle but it was reported that the owner is homeless and there was no way to locate the owner at this time to find out if the vehicle is stolen (it hadn't been reportedto this point). The vehicle was towed by A-1 towing since it is suspected of being stolen and it was used in the crime of evading police. At this time there is no suspect information of the parties who fled due to it being dark and a poorly lit area.

On 10/27/2020 at 03:25 hours, Officer St. John (83696) responded to a disorder with a weapon at 1421 Ivy St. Officers received an anonymous caller stating that George Davis pulled a gun on her, and then the phone disconnected before dispatch could get the victim's information. Officers knocked on the door for several minutes, until finally, Mr. Davis opened the door. Anthony Lacy and Reginald Hingleton were also on the scene. There were two women inside the residence and when officers talked to them separately, both denied making the 911 call and being a victim. Based on the lack of a victim coming forward for this matter, officers changed it to suspicious activity. There is nothing further.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Mr. James Alevras. I observed him sleeping under a large tarp in the parking lot of the above-listed address. I informed Mr. Alevras the property has "No Trespassing" signs posted which does not mean he is permittedto build a tent on the property.

Mr. Alevras stated he has been in Chattanooga for approximately three months. Mr. Alevras stated he moved here from Nashvilledue to the COVID-19 outbreak. Mr. Alevras stated he will be leaving Tennessee on this date or tomorrow to live with his mother.

I informed Mr. Alevras not to return to this property in the future. Mr. Alevras stated he would not.

On this date, I was approached by an individual who identified herself as Ms. Trina Potts. She stated as she parked her vehicle in front of 727 E 11th St. a black male wearing blue pajama pants approached her vehicle and would not leave her alone.

Ms. Potts asked if I would follow her to this location. Upon approach, Ms. Potts stated the black male was standing in the line. I was unable to spot the individual she was referring to because no one in the line matched her clothing description. I also did not observe any individuals acting in a disorderly or suspicious manner.

Ms. Potts stated she would relocate and return at a later time to avoid any potential disorderly confrontations from the unknown male.

Ms. Simonds stated Speedway employee Victoria handed Manager Erica her car keys and they were then given to her. Ms. Simonds stated she was informed that someone found the car keys on the gas pump.

Ms. Simonds stated her Chime card was used on this date at Speedway around 11:00 hours.

Ms Simonds stated she forgot to mention a Visa pre-paid credit card that was also inside her purse when it was stolen. Ms. Simonds stated the card has been canceled and was not used.

Ms. Simonds stated her prescription muscle relaxers, and allergy medicine was also inside the purse along with misc non-prescription medication.

Police asked Ms. Simonds to call back with any additional information relating to this case.

Mr. Sheimo says that sometime between 0100 and 0500 this morning, an unknown party entered his unlocked 2005 Lincoln Navigator and stole his wallet, its contents and his aviator sunglasses.

He says that the credit cards have been used mostly online. He says that he is in the process of canceling the cards. He is clearthat a separate report will need to be made for credit card fraud. He understands what information needed in order to make that report.

This report was taken via telephone. Nothing further.

On 10/28/2020 at 10:11 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 1011 Gadd Rd. The victim's fiance (Jamie Debord) called to add more info to the report. She said that the Manager of Integra Vistas Apts down the street found the victim's Capital One card and her contact info is: Katie Gann, . Also, the victim's First Bank Card was used in 3 illegal charges for $155 but they were declined. Also, the victim's Amazon card was used in3 charges for $155 that were declined as well and one for $38.12 that is pending. All of these charges were done online at Walmart. She said Walmart is going to send the info to their Billing Dept to see if they can find out who placed the orders/charges.Another online charge on the First Bank card for $78 went through but was reversed at a place called Pacsun in Anaheim, Ca. She said Pacsun knows who placed the order and will release that info to police. She said all the charges were made around 3:48am this morning. A seperate Fraud report was made under #20- 109498.

On 10/27/2020 at 13:30 hours, Officer J. Cuba (79521) reported a memo at The Samaritan Center located at 9231 Lee Hwy. Upon arrival, police made contact with the business manager, Mr. Keith Heming. Mr. Heming stated that one of the employees stopped a female party who was trying to walk out of the business with merchandise that she had not paid for. Once the female party was stopped she was allowed to pay for the merchandise. The female party kept arguing with the employees and she was given her money back and asked to leave the business. Police then made contact with the female party, Ms. Kity Acosta. Ms. Acosta stated that she started arguing with one of the business employees because they were trying to charge her $6 for an item that had a $4 price tag on it. Then Ms. Acosta stated that the employee stated that Ms. Acosta was trying to steal from the business because she was Hispanic. Ms. Acosta stated that at this point, one of the managers came out and asked her to leave the business. Mr. Heming stated that the business was not going to press charges against Ms. Acosta, but they wanted her trespassed from the property. No further.

On 10/27/2020 at 14:00 hours, Officer B. baker (79856) responded to a Shoplifting at 7421 Commons Blvd. I spoke with Mrs. Deeter who works with loss prevention. Mrs. Deeter stated that a black male in his early 50's wearing black pants, black and gold shirt, and a gray colored hat stole several items. Mrs. Deeter and another employee watched the suspect conceal Dewalt batteries on his person after using a Husky utility knife from the store to remove the packaging. Mrs. Deeter approached the suspect after he passed the final point of sale, but the suspect pushed through the door, knocking it off track. The suspect then left in a black pickup with a busted rear passenger window that had plastic on it. While I was speaking with Mrs. Deeter 1C6 responded to a shoplifting at Academy Sports that happened moments after the Home Depot shoplifting. The suspect and vehicledescription were the same on both calls. The registered owner of the suspect vehicle is Anthony Torrey, whom was located near his residence. Mr. Anthony did not appear to be the suspect from the camera footage from either store. Police attempted to question Mr. Anthony about the whereabouts of his truck, and who might be using it. Mr. Anthony declined to complain with the investigation and was released. Nothing further at this time.

Upon arrival, I spoke to the complainant Charlene Harris who is the store manager of Krystal. Ms. Harris stated a black female driving a red Nissan Altima came up to the drive-thru window and was upset about her order. The female then stated "wait till youget off work", "I make more money than you". The female had already left the scene before Police arrival. Police canvassed the area but there was no sign of the Nissan Altima. Ms. Harris was asked to call back should this female return to Krystal.

Upon arrival I spoke with Ms. Samples who told me that a black female had walked out of the store with about $100 worth of merchandise. She told me that she was not sure what all that the female took, but just knew that it was alot. She described the female as a mid 40's yearold, average height, thicker, with black hair in a bun. She told me that she got into a newer silver Cadillac SUV. Ms. Samples just needed to report the incident. No further action was needed.

James explained that a black male wearing black pants, a black jacket, and a blue face mask came into the store and put a half-gallon of milk in his backpack, and left the store. The milk is valued at $2.50. James witnessed the individual take the milk and leave. There is no further suspectinformation. The suspect left on foot going south on Rossville Blvd. Police checked the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the suspect description. Nothing further.

On 10/27/2020 at 15:55 hours, Officer Christopher Liberto (79560) and Officer Rogers (86062) conducted a field interview at 2300 4th Ave. I spotted Tonya Ector walking through the Citgo gas station parking lot which she has been trespassed on in the past. I got out and spoke with her and told her there is a sidewalk and there was no need to be on the property. During our conversation,a woman in a vehicle came into the gas station. The lady that pulled up was with Help for the Homeless and knew Tonya and offered to get her a ride to somewhere she is allowed to I ran Tonya's information and she had no warrants. Tonya said she wanted to go with the woman and was allowed to leave. Tonya was very respectful during our conversation and seemed in better health compared to previous encounters she has had with police. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/27/2020 at 17:00 hours, Officer Atwell (62429) responded to a Vandalism at 930 Douglas St. Upon arrival I spoke to Mary Kate Wright (complainant) who stated the exit gate to the parking garage facing 10th Street was damaged between 2323 hours on10/26 and 2330 hours 10/26. Complainant stated there is video of a Black Nissan Altima in the area that appears to strike the gate causing damage to the both the vehicle and the gate. The vehicle then leaves this exit and drives through the parking garage to the exit gate on the University Street side of the property. The Nissan Altima had a Georgia tag which came back registered to Abigal Petty out of Tunnel Hill, Georgia. Abigal Petty is not a resident of Douglas Heights and it is unclear how she got into the parking garage. Complainant stated the damage to the gate repaired would cost roughly 500.00 based on an estimate. Nothing further.

Mr. Ballard stated someone broke into his vehicle and stole his Ruger LC9 from the glove box. Mr. Ballard’s stated it did not have a clip in it. Mr. Ballard stated his vehicle was parked at this location while he went to a job site. Mr. Ballard did not have the serial number on hand and will call back when he has it available.

Police made contact with Shanarrea Melvin who stated that she was involved in a verbal altercation with the tenant in but would not provide police her name. Ms. Melvin stated that the verbal altercation was in regards to where her vehicle was parked. Ms. Melvinstated to police that her vehicle was having radiator trouble and only parked in a spot that was not assigned to her to allow it to cool off. Mr. Frazier says that his 2004 Ford F350 was parked on the front parking lot near the swimming pool, Mr. Frazier says that the security video of the motel shows that the boat cover box was stolen at 2118 hour, from the back of his truck. He says it was not secured. He says that the unknown party came around the side of the truck avoiding the security camera when the box was taken.

Mr Frazier says that later, an unknown party got under his Ford F350 and cut the exhaust off of it taking the catalytic converters. He says that the security video was no help.

On 10/28/2020 at 13:10 hours, Officer J.Hamilton (66984) reported a memo at 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd. Upon arrival I spoke with complainant David Beaucicot. Mr. Beaucicot wanted to report that a person he bought cell phones from, Daniel Smith, allegedly sold him stolen phones. Mr. Beaucicot said that he tried to sell the phones on eBay and they would not let him list the phones for sale due to them being "restricted". According to Mr. Beaucicot, that means the phones were stolen but there was no way to confirm that at the time of this report. Mr. Beaucicot turned the phones over to me and left the scene. The phones were then turned into property under the aforementioned complaint number. There is nothing further to report.

On 10/28/2020 at 11:00 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 1011 Gadd Rd. The complainant said that she is the victim's fiancee and she was making this report for him. She said his First Bank Credit Card was used in 3 illegal charges for $155 but they were declined. Also, the victim's Amazon credit card was used in 3 charges for $155 that were declined as well and in one for $38.12 that is pending. All of these charges were done online at Walmart. She said Walmart is going to send the info to their Billing Dept to see if they can find out who placed the orders/charges. Another online charge on the First Bank card for $78 went through but was reversed at a place called Pacsun in Anaheim, Ca. She said Pacsun knows whoplaced the order and will release that info to police. She said all the charges were made around 3:48 am this morning. This case is related to #20-109108 in which the victim's wallet was stolen containing his credit cards.

On 10/28/2020 at 11:48 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 1816 Gunbarrel Rd at Target. The victim said that she last had her wallet at Crackerbarrel yesterday at 3:59 pm when she checked out. Later, she said her husband started receiving notices about 5:45 pm that there were some illegal charges on her credit cards, which had been in her wallet. She said there was a charge on her Capital One card for $436.99 that went through at Target. At the Walmart (2020 Gunbarrel Rd), her Chase Visa was used twice in 2 attempted charges for $412 & $200 that were declined. As far as she knows no other charges were attempted. She said she possibly left her wallet on the counter at Crackerbarrel or she could have droppedit but she doesn’t know how she lost it. She said Crackerbarrel is supposed to check their video and get back with her if they find anything. However, she has not spoken with Walmart or Target yet to see if any video or suspect info is available. She will call back to update her report if any info comes available. Melinda also stated she wanted to stay out the rest of her lease until November 14, but the leasing office thought she wanted to leave October 30th. Leasing office stated if she were to leave on October 30th she would be terminating her lease early and would owe money for that. The leasing office confirmed her air was not working and would look into that issue.

Upon arrival, I spoke with Ms. Mildred Harvey; she said that she parked on the side of the Post Office on Shallowford Rd. She said she went in and came back out a few minutes later. When she came out she started driving towards Hwy 153 and she said that her car began to smoke from the engine. She stopped her car and got out at the gas station. She then called a tow truck to tow her vehicle back to her residence and called to make a report about the incident. She was told that it looked like someone hit her vehicle by the tow truck driver. She then looked at the front of her vehicle and saw that there was damage on the front passenger side of her vehicle. She was unsure how the damage got there but believes that someone did hit her car and that it also what caused her car to begin to smoke. I did notice that there was some damage to the front passenger side of her car but at this time am unable to confirm if anyone hit her vehicle due to the delay and no video footage. No further.

Mr. Pike stated that he live in Alabama and that he and his wife, Dorothy Pike were in the middle oa divorce. He stated that roughly two weeks ago she left in their Kia van. Mr. Pike stated that he was eventually able to track her down in Chattanooga and found her sleeping in the van at the above address. He stated that he attempted to talk to her but she would not speak to him. Mr. Pike stated that he was just wanted the van back. After speaking to both parties Mr. Pike stated that she could keep it for the night and that he would call his local Law Enforcement agency in the morning to see what other steps hecould take to get his van back.

Mr. Hayes says that on Sunday, he responded to an ad on Facebook. When asked what the ad was for all he would say is that it is a Facebook ad. He says that he gave the party his user name and password to his First Horizon bank account.

He says that Monday, there were 2 checks deposited into his account, one for $1,712.17 and the other $3,218.27. He says that he contacted his bank Monday afternoon and they put a freeze on his account and no money has been withdrawn from his account. He says as of this date, he has not suffered a financial loss due to this scam.

The party was observed immediately to be Justin Thurmond. Mr Thurmond is known to exhibit this behavior and alarm, but often does not require medical as he is sleeping in the grass. Due to his affinity to alarm the public in this particular area, Mr Thurmond is banned from many properties in this area. Mr Thurmond does not appear to have entered Walmart's property, which he is also banned from. Mr Thurmond was reminded of this and told to leave the area. No medical or police assistance necessary.

On 10/29/2020 at 18:00 hours, Officer Williams (80778) responded to a Stolen Property at 4700 Rossville Blvd. I Officer Williams was on routine patrol at the 4700 block of Rossville Blvd. I Officer Williams observed a red Chevy van just off the roadway parked in the parking lot of an abandoned building. The vehicle appeared abandoned and I Officer Williams ran the tag that was on the vehicle. Upon running the tag through NCIC it was discovered that the tag was stolen out of GA. I Officer Williams recovered the tag from the vehicle however was unable to get in touch with the owner of the tag. I Officer Williams had the tag removed from NCIC and transported the tag to the property division. No further.

On 10/29/2020 at 18:23 hours, Officer E. Lee (885) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 580 Interstate 75 Sb Rd. Upon arrival I was met by the driver of vehicle 1 Ms. Martina Harris, which stated she was traveling South on I-75 when an object struck her vehicle. Ms. Harris stated the object was metal and fell off of a recreational vehicle that was traveling in front of her. I observed damage on vehicle 1 that extended from the driver side front end to the rear. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported at this time.

On 10/29/2020 at 20:10 hours, Officer Luke Simon 971 responded to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at 627 Signal Mountain Rd at Dunken Donuts. Upon arrival I made contact with Joyce Reed. Ms Reed stated at approximately 20:00 hours a white male operating a black pickup ordered items at their drive through. Ms Reed stated the male party handed the cashier, Staisha Sims, a $20 bill. When Ms Sims used the counterfeit marker on the bill, it turned brown, signifying the bill was fake. Ms Sims alerted Ms Reed who then informed the male party she would have to call her manager and inform her manager then the police. When informed of this, the male party stated the bill come from Walmart and he was going to go see why he received a fake $20 bill. The man then left the drive through area. As he was driving away, Ms Reed stated she obtained the plate number from an unknown state, possibly TN but Ms Reed was unsure. On scene, I ran that plate number in TN, GA and AL and received no returns. The male party is described as white, medium build with sandy brown hair. It is stated the male party a mullet style hair cut with shaved sides. The male party was also in company of a white female, thin build with "bags" under her eyes and stated to have "looked tired". The female party is also stated to have shoulder length dark hair. The other party in company was a young white male, approximately 9-10 YO.

On 10/29/2020 at 23:05 hours, Officer Veronica Thomas (75141) responded to a Shoplifting at 1905 Gunbarrel Rd. Police were called for a shoplifter. Upon arrival, I spoke to Ms. Amy Lively who stated there was a white female inside stealing several items. Ms. Lively stated she did not know the amount of items stolen nor the value of each item. The female was scene on camera placing unknown items into her purse and walking out of the building. Ms. Lively stated she did not have a direction of travel.

Ms. Lively stated this occurred at approximately 2100 hours. The female was wearing a blue top and had a black purse. Mr. Zip will prosecute if suspect is located.

On 10/29/2020 at 23:08 hours, Officer Veronica Thomas (75141) responded to a Shoplifting at 1905 Gunbarrel Rd. Upon arrival, I spoke with Ms. Amy Lively who stated a black male came in a stole a bag of chips and a drink. Ms. Lively was able to show videofootage of a black male (app. 6ft with afro) wearing a black jacket and blue jeans taking a drink and chips. The male does not pay and walks out of the store. The total price of the drink is $1.99 and the total amount of the chips are $2.01. Ms. Lively could not give a direction of travel. The company will prosecute if suspect is identified. No further.

On 10/30/2020 at 01:35 hours, Officer Ayres (82234) responded to a disorder at 2103 Vance Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with Gayla James. Ms. James stated she was in verbal disorder with her boyfriend Gavin Suggs. Ms. James stated at no time did their argument become physical, but Ms. James requested Mr. Suggs to be removed from her residence. While talking with Ms. James I did not observe any indication that anything physical had occurred. Ms. James stated Mr. Suggs is listed on the lease forthe residence. I told Ms. James that if Mr. Suggs is a legal resident at the above address that officers could not force him to leave. Ms. James stated Mr.. Suggs' grandmother was enroute to pick him up from the residence.

I attempted to talk with Mr. Suggs, to which he did not wish to talk with police.

Based off of the information provided by Ms. James, no criminal offense had taken place therefore Mr. Suggs was not forced to interact with police while he was legally in his own residence.

No police action was taken and there was nothing further to report at this time.

I reviewed the video footage of the theft which occurred. The video shows a white female, wearing a maroon colored shirt and khaki pants. I sent a picture of the suspect for anyone that may be able to help identify.

On 10/30/2020 at 09:21 hours, Officer J. Billingsley (79518) responded to a miscellaneous complaint at 903 S Crest Rd. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant, Emily Lindsay. Ms. Lindsay informed me she was at the S Seminole / S Crest Rd intersection when she believes the front of the vehicle behind her, collided with the rear of her vehicle. Ms. Lindsay informed me there was no damage visible on her vehicle. I observed a mark, however, unknown if such was created due to the alleged collision. Ms. Lindsay described the other vehicle that was with her, as a silver SUV driven by an older white female. Ms. Lindsay informed me the other vehicle that was with her did not stop. Ms. Lindsay informed me she did not need an accident report due tosuch lack of damage. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/30/2020 at 09:27 hours, Officer C. Glenn (60757) responded to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at 4614 58 Hwy.

Ms. McCarson says that on 28 Oct. 2020, an unknown party entered the Suntrust Bank at the aforementioned location and used her stolen ID and canceled debit card to withdraw $4,000 from her bank account.

She says that her purse had been stolen while in Florida which contained her South Carolina ID and her Suntrust debit card. Shesays that she had closed the Suntrust bank account and debit card and opened a new account. She says that the teller failed to check the ID and because the debit card was canceled the teller put her new account number on the withdrawal slip. By so doingthe unknown party was able to get the money from her account.

Ms. McCarson is clear that since Suntrust is retuning the money to her account, Suntrust will be shown as the victim.

On 10/30/2020 at 10:20 hours, Officer Creekmur (73496) responded to a Vandalism at 5505 Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival, we talked to Ms. Wilson. She stated that a man in a white F250 was damaging a red Ford Fusion in the parking lot of the Motel 6. She stated that she had a video of the F250 driving away. I watched the video and after viewing the video, I was unable to determine the numbers on the Tag. In the video, someone states that it was an Alabama tag possible ending in 196. After investigating the scene, the ford fusion belongs to a Ms. Colbert and the motel 6 had two broken windows. Ms. Colbert occupied a room there at the motel 6, room number 118. When we knocked on room 118 to make contact with Ms. Colbert. We made contact with a Ms. Forester and Ms. Summey who stated that they were there just to take a shower. We got Ms. Colbert number from the front desk and made contact with Ms. Colbert. She stated that she allowed her friend Khristan to take a shower and we told her about her vehicle being damaged. She stated that she did not want it towed and that she will deal with it when she gets off work. At this timewe were unable to locate a suspect and the Motel 6 did not have a camera angle for the incident.

On 10/30/2020 at 11:53 hours, Officer C. Glenn (60757) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 4724 Tricia Dr.

Miss McCowan says that sometime during the night, an unknown party broke into her 2019 Jeep Cherokee and stole her wallet and its contents. She says that it has automatic lock and does not know how the unknown gained entry to her vehicle. She says that there was no damage.

On 11/01/2020 at 15:51 hours, Officer Franks (68395) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 4724 Tricia Dr. While searching for a firearm during complaint number 20-111118, I found a Coach Wallet in a drainage ditch near the scene. Inside the wallet was a driver's license, a TVFCU debit card, a Discover credit card and ASI Flex debit card. All items had Jasmine Mccowen's name on it. These items were returned to property. Nothing further to report at this time.

Upon arrival spoke to the manager, James Weaver who stated that a skinny woman with red greasy hair and gold teeth was shopping in the store and was giving them red flags that she may try and leave without paying. When the suspect came to the checkout, she tried to pay for the groceries with an EBT card but it wasn't working so she stated she would just pay cash. She paid with 2 $100 bills and left the store. The bills didn't get verified counterfeit until after the suspect was already gone from the scene. The suspect purchased $39.26 worth of various groceries and a $77.70 phone with the counterfeit bills.

Counterfeit Bills were turned into property.

Ms. Williams stated she is concerned for her elderly parents, Mr. Chung Shik and Ms. Suni Kim, in reference to them being scammed in apparent deceptive and fraudulent practices. Ms. Williams stated she wished to start a paper trail in an attempt to gain Power of Attorney or her parents. Ms. Williams stated that her parents are constantly getting scammed through phone calls or the internet as they are tricked into being made to think they have to pay someone money. Ms. Williams lives over seas and was in the USA this week and wished to make a report. No further at this time.

She has not obtained an estimate to have the paint removed from her vehicle.

Upon arrival, I found a black Kia Soul in the cull-a-sec with a male party in the passenger seat. I spoke with the male Mr. Christopher Baumgartner; he stated that the car was his brother's Matthew Baumgartner and he just walked off to try to get some help for the vehicle. Christopher said that the vehicle has been having some clutch problems and it won’t start correctly. I looked in the vehicle and saw that the vehicle appeared to have the steering column broken the gear shifter rigged to be able to use and the tag on the vehicle came back to a Chevrolet. After running the vehicle and Christopher, both came back to not having anything wrong with the VIN or D/L. Christopher was allowed to remain with the vehicle until they could get it out of the roadway. No further.

Mr. Boyd said that he had found another place to stay at on Wilcox Blvd so he was going to walk there. Mr. Boyd appeared very intoxicated as he had trouble putting his clothes on and stumbled while he was walking. We transported him to 1726 Wilcox Blvd, a house to which he had a key and entered.

I spoke with the party, identified as Travis Caldwell CA# , and told him store security wanted him to leave and not return to the store. I then escorted Mr. Caldwell out of the store without incident. I also informed Mr. Caldwell that he was trespassed from the property and will be arrested and prosecuted if he returned. Upon arrival, complainant (retired LVM PD, Dano Gieredorf) stated his neighbors were out of the country (Ireland) and the front side door was open of their home. Officers cleared the home and did not observe any forced entry. All appeared to be in order and the door lock would not secure. Officers secured the door via deadbolt inside and exited thru another door. This information was relayed to the reporting party.

Mr. Antunez said that Mr. Zeliya accused him of owing him money still from work done. Mr. Antunez had driven to Mr. Zeliya's residence and was waiting for Mr. Zeliya to get home. Officer McCall spoke to Mr. Zeliya on thephone and she said he would be home in about ten minutes. Mr. Antunez said he had to go to a job site and could not stay, so heleft before Mr. Zeliya arrived.

Ms. Minton was not on the Mapco property and did not have any warrants so she was not arrested. Ms. Minton was given a warning to not go on that property or police would have to come to arrest her. Mr. Poag could not provide a phone number for the owner of the lot or any papers that allowed him to be there. Mr. Poag was told he had 5 hours to get his things and leave that area and not be back or he would be arrested for trespassing. Nothing further at this time.

She stated she believes her neighbor, Ms. Trish Fulster cut her brake line from her vehicle ( TN ). She stated Ms. Fulster believes she was having a relationship with her husband which Ms. Miller denied. She believes her brake line was cut in retaliation. Police did not see any evidence of a cut brake line and Ms. Miller didn't know where the brake line was cut. Police gave Ms. Miller a complaint number to retrieve the report to follow up. Upon arrival I met with the complainant, Ms. Stacey Samples (Manager), who stated that an unknown black female with a dirty blond wig and a large black tote, stole a box full with candy. On 11/01/2020 at 12:14 hours, Officer J. Waltero (79887) responded to a theft from vehicle at 6033 Vincents Landing Dr. I spoke to Zachary Willmore over the phone.

Mr. Willmore stated sometime between 2130 - 0800 hours, someone went into his vehicle and stole his Arsenal Strike 1 9mm firearm. Mr. Willmore stated it was inside a biometric gun box, which was taken as well. Mr. Willmore stated he had company overuntil 2130 for a Halloween party. Mr. Willmore stated this is not the first time someone breaks into one of his vehicles. Mr. Willmore stated the firearm was loaded with a 13 round mag. The firearm was added into NCIC and NIC #G095110209 was generated.

4026 Shallowford Rd20-111336 10/30/2020 5:00:00PM 91Z Damaged Property Accidental

On 11/02/2020 at 08:00 hours, Officer Frazier (68396) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 4026 Shallowford Rd. Upon arrival, police spoke with Wesley Bethune. Wesley stated to police that on Friday afternoon, October 30, 2020, around 17:31 hrs, he was traveling with his wife and son around the 4026 block of Shallowford Road. Wesley was driving his 2016 Chevy Silverado (Vin 3GCUKREC7GG128101/GA-PXV1401). Wesley stated that he was traveling eastbound in the left lane when several CPD patrol vehicles passed him with emergency equipment activated on the left side of his vehicle. Wesley stated that henever witnessed any object come off of a patrol car but he heard a loud bang. Wesley pulled over and suspected that an object flew off of the patrol car striking the center drivers side of his Silverado causing several scratches. However, Wesley could not findthe object that struck his vehicle. Police were able to view the scratches on Wesley's vehicle but cannot determine for sure where they came from. At this time, there is no further info to process.
