Luke 16:23-24

23 And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham

far off and Lazarus at his side.

24 And he called out, „Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send

Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am

in anguish in this flame.‟

Matthew 25:31-41

31 When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him,

then he will sit on his glorious throne.

32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people

one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

34 Then the King will say to those on his right, „Come, you who are blessed by

my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of

and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be

books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book

14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the

second death, the lake of fire.

thrown into the lake of fire.

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the

first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

1. GPC 2021 Theme: Love & Mission!

2. Tuesday Prayer Meeting in Whatsapp: Our weekly Tuesday prayer meeting at 8pm will be conducted via Whatsapp. This week Rev. Tay Hae Dar will be in-charge of the prayer to pray for Families. We hope to have more prayer warriors join us from your individual homes!

3. Worship arrangement: With effect from 29 August 2021, with the government relaxation of Covid control measures, we will be able to accommodate up to 250 congregants, but only for fully vaccinated after 14 days congregants. In order to come for worship in the church, congregants are encouraged to be fully vaccinated. Those who intend to come for service in church must register with Pr Erlina (9459 7838), on Tuesday or Wednesday 10am-4pm, for up to 100 members.

4. ECM 2021: We will be holding an Extraordinary Congregational Meeting (ECM) on 5 September 2021 at 12.15pm, for the following matters:

1) Amendment of the Constitution to provide that the Treasurer and the Assistant Treasurer shall retire for a minimum of two terms (instead of one term) after serving for two consecutive terms, as suggested by the Registrar of Societies.

2) Election of Deacons (Term of Office: 2022 to 2024).

Due to the COVID-19 safe management restrictions, all members are unable to attend the ECM physically. As such, the ECM will be conducted by way of a Zoom Meeting. All members who fall within any of the following categories should have received the relevant documents:

1) Attended the Annual Congregational Meeting (ACM) 2020. 2) Attended the ACM 2021. 3) Did not attend both ACM 2020 and ACM 2021, but have responded

to the church‟s letter indicating your intention to participate in ECM 2021.

Please refer to the bulletin for the list of Deacons to be elected.
