Repeater/TalkaroundYou may utilize a repeaterto increase signal range or to provide telephoneinterconnect. Talkaround frequencies do just that—they circumvent the repeaterto talk directly to anotherradio. Each channel can be programmed as eitherrepeater or talk-around. Youcan essentially double yourchannel capacity by usingthe option button to togglebetween talk-around andrepeater settings.
