REMOTE AREA ENERGY SUPPLYCowell Electric’s experience in the generation and distribution of electricity started in 1928 when it owned and operated power supply infrastructure to customers in the District Council of Franklin Harbour. Now 90 years on in 2018, after winning a competitive tender process in 2016, Cowell Electric manage, operate and maintain off-grid power generation and distribution systems for 14 Aboriginal communities and 10 remote townships throughout South Australia for the State Department of Premier and Cabinet.
