YOUR PROJECTUsing cardboard, you will create a stabile in the style of Alexander Calder. Think about some airplane models and how the pieces fit together.Once you’ve built it out of cardboard, you will cover it with newsprint/art paste.Consider the types of shapes he uses – are they geometric or organic? How do they fit together?You have the option of adding in a hybrid element.You will begin by making a miniature model out of construction paper (though your final piece will not be much larger…)
