1 Remove the main seat and thepassenger seat.
2 Remove the fuel tank
Note: The installation can be donewithout removing the fuel tankbut it may be easier to have itremoved
3 To remove the fuel line squeezethe sides of the connector (Fig. A). Disconnect the twoelectrical connectors.
4 Loosen the four bolts holding onthe left hand side cover (Fig. B).
5 Route the PCIII harness betweenthe tray and the frame (Fig. C).

Disconnect these lines
Loosen these bolts
PCIII harness
6 Continue routing the PCIII har-ness towards the front of thebike. Route underneath theframe and towards the left handside of the rear cylinder(Fig. D).
7 Continue routing the PCIII har-ness along the frame towards thefront of the bike. Locate thestock connector for the throttlebodies (Fig. E).
8 Unplug this connector.
9 Plug the connectors from thePCIII in-line of the stock con-nector (Fig. F).

10 Attach the ground wire from thePCIII to the negative side of thebattery (Fig G).
11 Install the PCIII under the lefthand side cover (Fig. H).
NOTE:
If you have a California model itis best to velcro the unit to thefront portion of the charcoalcanister (Fig J). Use the sup-plied velcro to attach the unit.
