INTRODUCTION

A heritage of hunting separates Nikko Stirling from its competitors. Nikko Stirling does not produce spectacles, jewelry, cameras or microscopes. We specialize only in Optics forhunting.

Our philosophy is to provide the hunters or target shooterswith optics they need to be successful in their sport. Since 1956 this has beenour goal. Today the Nikko Stirling range is a result of the evolution of solving thechallenges faced by hunters throughout the world.

During 2006 Nikko Stirling is proud to be celebrating 50 years since its inception by Malcolm John Fuller (1924-1994).

Born in Australia, Malcolm Fuller had an early exposure to firearms and hunting onAustralian farms that were abundant with wild boar, deer, goats, foxes and rabbits. This early exposure and subsequent lifelong pursuit of hunting larger game providedMalcolm Fuller with tremendous practical experience that has been a cornerstone tothe development of riflescopes under the Nikko Stirling range.

Initially utilizing optics factories that were emerging in Japan in the 1950s, he foundedthe Stirling Scope Company Ltd in Tokyo, Japan to manufacture and export NikkoStirling riflescopes to Europe, Africa and Australasia.

Few other makers of riflescopes can claim their origins in hunting; most are divisions of related optics factories. This distinction is particularly important in thedevelopment of today's range of Nikko Stirling riflescopes. Practical experienceincorporated into our designs combined with manufacturing and component qualityensures the hunter's needs are met and satisfied.

Today the range of Nikko Stirling riflescopes offers a choice for all firearms enthusiasts.Serious hunters look to our DIAMOND series scopes, While new enthusiasts startout with a MOUNTMASTER scope on their air gun or .22 rifles.

TARGET MASTERTargetmaster Series Riflescopes provide features for competitors in alltypes of target shooting from Field Target Air Gun to long range BigBore. Three styles of fine reticles will not obscure the target. The targetturrets have crisp 1/8” min click stops for precise adjustment and comewith all weather caps. The objective lenses are fully multicoated and parallaxadjustable for accurate range finding. The matte black non-reflectivebody tubes and sunshades prevent internal reflections. The quest for the trophy or the elusive game animal takes today’shunters to more and extreme locations where the climate and terrainpushes the hunters and their equipment to the limit. The Diamondriflescopes are designed to specifically perform in these conditions.

In creating the new Nikko Stirling Diamond series we have combinedthe best Japanese optics with renowned Japanese attention to quality,at every level of production.

The new series of Diamond is a step up again in optical and functionaldesign. From the objective lens to the eyepiece the improvementshave been incorporated. Certified Japanese made lenses ensuremaximum edge to edge lens clarity and brightness. Improved sealsand internal fittings with precision CNC machined parts provideuncompromised performance in the field. Every riflescope is individuallychecked for recoil. They are checked for being waterproof and arealso nitrogen filled to stop fogging. Optical coatings are added to allexternal and internal lenses to reduce the reflection of light by theglass surfaces. This ensures a brighter scope in low light conditionswhen target acquisition is critical.

External improvements have been incorporated into the newdesign. These include low profile adjustments that won't getcaught in clothing or on foliage during the hunt. The adjustmentbezel is finger adjustable so there is no need to find coinsand tools. Rubber enhanced zoom rings ensure positivetraction and adjustment in wet or icy conditions.

The new series looks attractive on any rifle. The deep ForestGreen highlights combined with a flawless external mattefinish will make the scope an admirable companion on yournext hunt.

European hunters have traditionally chosen the 30mm bodytube riflescopes for low light conditions in which they hunt. Putsimply the larger 30mm body tubes allow designers to make ariflescope that captures more light to be delivered to your eye.This is critical in low light hunting.

Additionally 30mm riflescopes are considered stronger andmore robust. The Diamond 30mm series offers all the featuresof the 1 inch series. The 30mm series is offered in twotraditional sizes 1.5-6 x 44 and 4-12 x 56. Both are offeredwith the German number four reticle.

PLATINUM NIGHTEATER Illuminated models allow for faster more accurate shootingin low light conditions as the illuminated reticle is more easily seen by your eyes.The brightness is adjustable through 12 settings allowing you to set the brightnessto suit the conditions encountered whilst hunting.

Named the NIGHTEATER because it was developed for theprofessional Kangaroo shooters in Australia who huntexclusively at night, head-shooting kangaroos at 200-300m toharvest the meat and skins.

The NIGHTEATER Scopes are made in a new state-of-the-artmanufacturing facility. The lenses we use are Grade A whichare the best available. Other brands typically use Grades B, Cand D to save costs. The lens coatings used are also a keyfactor in the clarity achieved by the NIGHTEATER range. Weoffer the exclusive MICROLUX ETE coatings on all lenses, whichimproves light transfer to the hunter's eyes. Most othermaker's only coat the external lens or worse, just use acoloured tint for looks.

Adjustable Air gun Mount Air gunning is a demanding and growing sport. The arcof the pellets trajectory is extreme when compared tostandard rifles, which will often travel beyond thelimits of most riflescopes adjustments. To solve thisproblem we have developed a sturdy but adjustableone-piece rail mount for air guns. The scopes elevationcan be precisely and quickly adjusted to compensate for theextreme trajectory. The mount incorporates an adjustmentdial and a sturdy hinge mechanism allowing the mount totilt to the required angle. The one-piece design allows thisto be achieved without removing the mount from the rifle.No twisting or distortion of the scope will occur.

The sight is made of metal alloys andfeatures optical glass lenses and coatings for target clarity. The red dot is fullyadjustable for windage and elevation when mounted on the rifle or handgun. The sightis switched on by removing the cover and off again by replacing the cover on the sight.The XT has an additional switch that allows the sight to be used in virtual darkness. It ispowered by a single battery that can be removed or changed easily whilst mounted on thefirearm. For storage the battery can be removed or replaced in seconds ensuring you areready for the next competition or hunt.

The XT sight is available with weaver style mountings or special mountings for use withseveral popular handguns. These handgun mountings are able to be fitted withoutspecialist gunsmith tools. Ask your dealer about the available mounts as we will beadding to the range over time. Adjustment for windage and elevation is easy and fastwith the supplied tools and calibration wheel.

Diamond

Diamond Functionally similar to the XT, the SAS design is alsowaterproof. This allows for a more demanding use androbustness. It is slightly larger measuring 48mm inlength, 25mm wide and 24mm high. The battery canalso be changed without removing the sight from thefirearm by removing two screws located in the top ofthe sight. Again the sight is light sensitive and isturned on and off by removing the cover.

The SAS is available with weaver style mounts.

Diamond PRO TThe Pro T was introduced by Nikko Stirling in 2004and has proven reliable for hunters needing fastreflex sights. Measuring 50mm in length, 28mmwidth and 38mm in height the Pro T gives thehunter a larger sight window. The Pro T is suppliedwith integral weaver mounts. Functionally it issimilar to the XT described above.
