Walk-on enters his second year with the team after redshirting last season...one of only two players on the roster to hail from Washington...went 4-3 in singles play and 3-3 in doubles (3-2 with David Chu and 0-1 with Skyler Tateishi) during 2007 fall season...reached semifinals in Bronco Classic Flight 2 in both singles and doubles.

Before Washington and Personal

Bradley Evan Bator…graduated from Inglemoor High School in Bothell, Wash…also played golf and baseball in high school…parents are mother, Pam, and father, Steve…has a sister, Coco…was 2006 state champion and was third in 2004…ranked No. 2 in the Northwest for Boy’s 16’s…was named Seattle Times Player of the Week during his career…participated in the 16 Zonals in Salt Lake City, 18 Winter Nationals and Copper Bowl in Arizona…taught tennis at Edgebrook Tennis Club…enjoys mountainbiking during his free time.

Coach Anger on Bator:

"Brad continues to impress me. He came late to the sport, and he has caught up to a lot of guys. He’s very athletic, and he’s competitive. The thing for him is to learn how to play the game. What I mean by that is constructing points. Competing in matches when you’re up, when you’re down, those types of things he doesn’t necessarily have experience with. But he’s learning to hit the ball, he’s moving well, so he is going to play for the Huskies. When that starts I don’t know if that’s this year or not, but I’m very excited about his future."

Coach Anger on Rosinski:Alex is doing 100% better. He’s had some very solid days, and then days where if one thing goes off then a bunch of things go off, and if we can just get to where we can manage those days better--because everyone’s going to have those--then his results and his performance will be consistent right along with it. He redshirted last year and struggled with our guys last year, and this year that is not the case."

Freshman walk-on is expected to redshirt his first season on the squad.

Before Washington and Personal

Born in Singapore ... parents are Lai Peng Chan and Stephen Stith ... has two older siblings, Jason and Corrine ... played for San Marcos high school, posting a 42-2 record during senior year ... graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

Coach Anger on Stith:"Matt will probably be redshirting. He has really jumped up doubles-wise. He didn’t play any of the tournaments, because we were keeping the redshirt option open, but in practice he was a great help with the doubles. He was able to play against anybody. He was serving well, returning well, and he’s got a lot of good instincts. A lot of guys who grew up in Southern California, they still play a little more doubles down there in junior tennis, so they usually come in with some instincts where they’re a little ahead. And that definitely showed for him."

First-year team member who posted some good results in the fall, going 3-1 in singles and 3-2 in doubles...first three collegiate wins came in Flight C of the Chandler Cup, where he reached the semifinals.

Coach Anger on Tateishi:"At first we were thinking about maybe seeing if Skyler was going to redshirt, but he’s going to try and play this year and he’s working very hard. He’s doing everything we’re asking. The part that was tough for him at first, coming from Hawaii where you don’t have that many guys to practice with, was the amount of work and the intensity of work there compared to here is night and day. So at first that was a little tough for him. But he has the right attitude and is working hard. So most of his improvement was towards the end of the fall."
