The New Year presents a perfect opportunity for us to extend our wishes that youwill be blessed with good health, happiness and prosperity in 2007 and in the yearsthat follow! We hope that whatever success you enjoyed in the previous year will bemultiplied in the New Year!
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. enters the New Year after having just celebratedits 100th Anniversary. This official Fraternity calendar highlights the organization’sCentennial Celebration, which began with our pilgrimage to Cornell Universityin Ithaca, New York where we were founded in 1906. Also, the calendar featuresscenes from our Centennial Convention held in Washington, D.C., our 14thAnnual Congressional Black Caucus Reception and the historic groundbreakingfor the Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial. Eachmonth highlights a moment that we know you will treasure.
In the calendar, we also recognize many of our other great organizations and institutionsthat have aided the African American community over the last decades and centuries.The founding dates of the groups and institutions—including our fellow Pan-HellenicCouncil organizations—are highlighted in the monthly tables.
