1 Remove the seat.

2 Remove both black side panels.

3 Prop the front of the fuel tank up.

4 Lay the Ignition Module in the tailsection near the PCIII.

5 Route the Ignition Module harnessdown the left hand side of the bikefollowing the PCIII harness.

6 Attach the ground wire from theIgnition Module to the negative sideof the battery (Fig. A).

7 Route the wiring harness from theIgnition Module towards the engine.Route the harness underneath thecross member of the subframe andcontinue routing along the left handside of the frame (Fig. B).

9 Connect the YELLOW colored wiresfrom the Ignition Module in-line ofthe stock wiring harness and coil(Fig. D).

10 Route the remaining wiring harnessfrom the Ignition Module under theframe and go to the right side of thebike.

11 Unplug the YELLOW/BLUE wirefrom the coil for cylinders 1&4(Fig. E).

12 Unplug the BLACK/WHITE wirefrom the coil for cylinders 1&4(Fig. E).

Take note as to the orientation ofthese wires.

13 Unplug the RED 2 pin connector forthe crank pickup sensor (Fig. E).

14 Plug the ORANGE colored wiresfrom the Ignition Module in-line ofthe YELLOW/BLUE wire and coil.

15 Plug the RED colored wires from theIgnition Module in-line of theBLACK/WHITE wire and coil.

16 Plug the white 2 pin connectors fromthe Ignition Module in-line of thestock wiring harness and crank pickupsensor (Fig. F).

17 Secure the PCIII in place with thesupplied velcro. Make sure to cleanboth surfaces with the alcohol swabbefore attaching.

18 Plug the WHITE 10 pin connectorfrom the Ignition Module into theexpansion port of the PCIII. If youare using a quickshifter then unplugthe quickshifter from the PCIII andconnect it to the expansion port of theIgnition Module.

19 Reinstall the fuel tank, side panels andseat.
