You are sadly missed by all atthis time of the year. Withyour birthday on Dec. 10thand your passing away fiveyears ago on Dec. 26, 2003.
Christmas in HeavenI see the countless Christmastrees around the world below,With tiny lights like heaven’sstars reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear,
For I am spending Christmaswith Jesus Christ again this year.
I hear the many Christmassongs that people
hold so dear,But the sound of music can’t
compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you ofthe joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description tohear the angels sing.
I know how much you missme, I see the pain inside your heart.
For I am spending Christmaswith Jesus Christ again this year.
I can’t tell you of the splendoror the peace
here in this place. Can you just imagine
Christmas with our Savior face to face?
I’ll ask him to lift your spirit asI tell him of your love.
So then pray for one anotheras you lift your eyes above. Please let your hearts be
joyful and let your spirit sing. For I am spending
Christmas in heaven,And I’m walking with the King.
Mom, our Christmases aren’t the same without you
but you are in our hearts and prayers. We love you,
Your daughters, Shirley andher families,

We would like to thank allof our friends, family, andfriends of our friends andfamily whose thoughts andprayers were with us in thedays, weeks, and months fol-lowing the EF5 tornadowhich destroyed our Parkers-burg home. Many people sentcards, letters, money, giftcards, clothes, and other dailynecessities to help us getthrough. Family and friendscame out the day after thetornado to help sift throughthe remnants of our belong-ings. These individualsoffered to store and wash anybelongings that remained. Many people offered not onlytheir services, but also theirhomes. We are so thankful tohave all of these wonderfulpeople in our lives. In a mil-lion years, we would havenever imagined the love andsupport we’ve felt over thelast six months. This tragedy
With Sincere Thanks and Appreciation
was a frightening reminder ofhow precious life is and howbelongings are merely belong-ings. The tornado may havetaken our home and posses-sions, but it couldn’t take thelove and support of our familyand friends. May all of youhave a wonderful and safeHoliday Season! Thank youfrom the bottom of our hearts.

Q: Holiday time at our house means lots of cooking and eating! Howcan we make the most of our holiday time spent in the kitchen?
A: If you do a lot of holiday baking, plan to make a day of it and do allyour baking at once while the oven is heated up and ready to go!
Take advantage of your energy-saving appliances like slowcookers and microwave ovens whenever possible – they useup to 75 percent less energy than your electric oven. Anddon't be afraid to use your dishwasher for clean up. It takesless water to run a load through the dishwasher than towash them by hand. Try to limit the number of times you
open the refrigerator door … up to 30 percent of thecooled air can escape every time you do. For moreenergy-saving ideas, call 1-800-ALLIANT to request ourfree PowerHouse brochure, Choosing and UsingAppliances.
