About Brian Bouma• I have been actively racing off-road events for 15 years, from the early
days riding mini bikes. I advanced from 4th to 2nd place in the state, including an event where I was awarded the overall trophy at the BuddsCreek Nationals in Maryland.
• After advancing from the mini class, I raced in the 125cc class, taking honors up to a state championship in the VCHSS in the “B” class, followed by taking 2nd in state in the “A” class.
• After a period with limited involvement during my college years I returned to the “B” class, and missed being a repeat State Champion only because of a broken wrist which took me out of the competition with 4 events remaining – I had a strong points lead which enabled me to still take 2nd in state even after being unable to participate in 4 events.
• I have since advanced to the 250 “A” class, taking 1st place in the 2006 GPX series, and 4th place in the 2006 VXCS series. I was unable to participate in several events in both the VCHSS and the VXCS as a result of a torn ACL which required knee surgery – and several months of rehabilitation. I am looking forward to 2008 and am convinced I am “the one to beat” in the VXCS and the GPX series.

Brian has been very competitive in the hare scramble racing circuit since 1993.
About Eddie DeanesEddie Deanes started riding late in life at the age of 21. He has been racing pro motorcycles since 2000 in Nevada, California, and Baja Mexico. He quickly became know as “Fast Eddie”. Eddie rides at least once a week at local motocross tracks. Racing has become a part of his life and he has put all he can back into the race community. In 2004 Eddie had Knee surgery (PCL), so he missed the whole year of racing but he was at every race supporting friends and fellow racers. Eddie spent a lot of weekends leading groups of people on 3-5 day adventure trips down in Baja.
Eddie comes from a generation of racers so it in his blood. His fatherraced and now Eddie does while his father runs his pits and chases for him.In Baja racing you are only as good as your team and your pit crew. Eddieknows that you have to race smart in Baja.
Eddie is ready to start racing on the east coast and apply all of his knowledge and skills to win all three series!
