How To Use Your TimeshareUSE IT YOURSELFPlanning to visit your home resort?
1. For floating week owners, call1-800-925-9999 and request a reservation for your preferred travel dates. Remember, we want to ensure you have the opportunity to come home to your resort when it is best for you, so please call ahead since requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. If you own a fixed week and will be traveling during your scheduled week, simply call 1-800-925-9999 and a vacation consultant will be more than happy to assist you in finalizing your vacation plans.
EXCHANGEYou have two options:
1. Stay at your home resort at a time other than your scheduled week or stay at another Westgate propertyby doing a “Developer Exchange.”Just tell us when you would like to visit.*1-800-925-9999
2. Exchange your week through Interval International and travel the world. Please contact us at 1-800-925-9999 and we will be more than happy to assist you.

It’s as easy as picking up the phone or sending an e-mail to let us know you’re coming. And if you want to exchange your week, either for a different Westgate week or through Interval International, we’ll “walk” you through the process.
Helpful Tips• Check-in days vary, depending on the resort. Because we want to give you the greatest opportunity to obtain what your family needs for your vacation plans, please call (1-800-925-9999) and confirm at least 6 months in advance of your desired visit. If your vacation needs have changed, please refer to pages 44 and 45.
• Would you like to come back to your home resort at a time other than the week you own? Or would you like to try another Westgate Resort? Contact us (1-800-925-9999) and mention you would like to do a “Developer Exchange” and we’ll do the rest!
• To enjoy usage of your villa, please make sure all annual fees associated with the occupancy year of deposit are current prior to your arrival.
• If you own a “lock-off ” villa, please read the “Lock-Off Info” listed on the respective Resort Information Page in this booklet. This will help you get the most out of your Westgate Resorts ownership. Use only the part of your villa you need and deposit the rest for future use!
• Check-in begins at 4 p.m. Contact us (1-800-925-9999) if you’ll be arriving late, or if you have special needs such as a highchair or crib.
• If you are giving your villa to a friend or relative as a gift to use, it is important to call us (1-800-925-9999) at least 60 days in advance of arrival and let us know. This will ensure your guest’s check-in is as smooth as possible.
• Planning on traveling the world? To exchange your week with Interval International or any other exchange company, payment of the annual fees associated with the occupancy year of deposit is required.

?Frequently Asked Questions
1. Q. How do I reserve my floating week? A. When making your vacation plans, be sure to request your reservation(s) according to your resort’s floating plan. Details of these plans can be found in the Public Offering Statement that governs your ownership. Floating plan reservations are always on a first-come, first-served availability restricted to the season of ownership. We strongly suggest not purchasing airline tickets, if needed, until confirming your reservation. You may visit www.westgateresorts.com for more information.
2. Q. How far in advance can I request reservations? A. Each floating plan allows owners to request up to eleven (11) months in advance of their desired travel dates. All requests are processed in the order received. Refer to your resort’s information page for details.
3. Q. Can I travel in a higher season or to a larger villa than the one I own? A. Yes. Upgrades are subject to availability, and applicable villa upgrade fees will apply. Please call 1-800-925-9999 to discuss vacationing options with one of our consultants.
4. Q. Can I split my usage into reservations of less than seven nights? A. Several of Westgate Resorts’ floating plans allow for “split week usage.” This allows owners to request two stays, one for three nights and one for four nights. There are restrictions on which days may be requested. To see if your resort offers a split week usage plan, refer to the resort information page in this Owners Guide.
5. Q. I can only vacation on the same dates every year. How can I be assured of getting reservations? A. Fixed week owners are guaranteed the week they own. Floating week owners are encouraged to call 1-800-925-9999 eleven (11) months in advance for the largest variety of vacationing options.
6. Q. If I need a few additional nights, can I rent them and stay in the same villa? A. If we are not expecting another owner in the villa you are occupying, there is the possibility that you can stay in the same villa for the extra nights.
7. Q. If I send a guest for my reservations, do they receive the same privileges that I would? A. Owners privileges are exclusively for owners. If you have people traveling with you, they will receive your same privileges.
8. Q. When is the maintenance and tax bill due? A. We encourage you to pay your maintenance and tax bill upon receipt. To avoid late fees, payments must be received no later than January 2nd of the year being billed. Complete information is included in the invoice(s) mailed. If you wish to deposit with Interval International or any other exchange or you would like to make a Developer Exchange, all fees must be prepaid prior to the due date. To use a confirmed reservation, a Float Week owner must pay all maintenance fees by the collection due date each calendar year or by thirty (30) days prior to check-in, whichever occurs earlier. Any reservation confirmed prior to the due date will be subject to cancellation if the owner does not pay the fees by the due date.
9. Q. Can I make my mortgage or maintenance payments online? A. Visit www.westgateresorts.com and proceed to the “Westgate Owners” section. Choose “Make Payment” and enter all required information.

10. Q. Can I change which day of the week I am scheduled to check-in? A. At resorts utilizing the fixed week plan, owners have a designated check-in day assigned. Under this plan, if you wish to travel the same week but arrive on a different day, it would require an exchange request and the payment of a Developer Exchange fee. At resorts utilizing the floating plan, both float and fixed week owners have flexibility on check-in days according to availability. Please refer to your resort’s Public Offering Statement or contact us at 1-800-925-9999 for more information.
11. Q. Can I exchange my week with Interval International? A. Please call us at 1-800-925-9999 and we will assist you in your vacationing options.
12. Q. Can I deposit / exchange a future year s reservation? A. Yes. Please call 1-800-925-9999 to discuss your vacationing options.
13. Q. Why do I have to pay an exchange fee at my home resort? A. Any time you change the dates of a fixed week or resort location of occupancy, you are required to pay a Developer Exchange fee. This is a service provided through the CFI Resorts Management Company; it is not part of the Association or purchase agreement. This information is included in your Acknowledgement of Representations found in your contract documentation.
14. Q. I need a larger villa because my family has grown? A. Please contact our Telesales department at 1-800-651-7606 and they will give you information on a larger villa to accommodate your needs.

Travel Protection Insurance
This is why Westgate Resorts is making this new travel insurance program available to all owners. For a one-time premium payment, you can now protect your vacation experience if your travel plans are interrupted for a covered event. This insurance will cover your maintenance fee, property taxes and exchange fees for the year.
In the event you do not use your week, Westgate will no longer replace your usage right unless this valuable coverage is purchased.

Developer Exchange As the Westgate Owners Family continues to grow, the demand for Developer Exchange inventory increases. The “Developer Exchange Program” was created to allow fixed owners the opportunity to experience other Westgate Resort destinations. This program also includes exchanging into different seasons at the designated home resort throughout the year. Although Westgate Resorts attempts to accommodate all Developer Exchange requests, the demand for these weeks often exceeds the supply of the developer inventory. Thus, during popular vacation periods, such as observed public holidays, Florida in the summertime, or Park City during ski season, it may be difficult to accommodate the Developer Exchange requests. This program also allows fixed week owners to request a summer vacation even though they may have purchased a week in the spring, winter, or fall - again, absorbing the inventory for the summer and/or peak travel.
DEVELOPER EXCHANGE INVENTORY IS LIMITED; THEREFORE Westgate Resorts instituted regulations for Developer Exchanging. The program will function like the current float owner program which is based on season designation in which a fixed week falls; thus allowing all fixed week owners the opportunity to a comparable Developer Exchange.
Please see the chart below to determine which season your
fixed week can Developer Exchange into:
• If you own an “All” Season week, you have the option of Developer Exchanging into the following weeks = 1-5, 8-13, 16-25, 27-50.
• If you own a “Value” Season week, you have the option of Developer Exchanging into the following weeks = 1-4, 16-20, 35-46, 48-50.
• If you own a Fixed “Event” week, you have the option of either Developer Exchanging into any “All” or “Value” Season week, or another “Event” week. This exchange will require a Developer Exchange fee.
Owners that own in the “Value” Season can elect to Developer Exchange into the “All” Season, by paying the current Developer Exchange fee, plus the seasonal upgrade fee.
All fixed week owners requesting a Developer Exchange outside their designated home resort, are required to pay a Developer Exchange fee, plus any applicable season upgrade fees. ALL DEVELOPER EXCHANGES ARE BASED ON AVAILABILITY.

Since its inception, the Westgate Resorts Foundation has raised and distributed almost $9 million to charities that provide services for women, children, families and seniors in Central Florida and other communities where Westgate owns and operates resorts. The Westgate Resorts Foundation is unique because every dollar is raised by Westgate employees, executives,
owners, guests and business partners. In fact, it is well known that if you want to conduct significant business with Westgate Resorts, you must share in our commitment to the community. In addition, Westgate Resorts’ founder and owner, David Siegel, pays all of the administrative and operating costs of the foundation (excluding certain taxes, licenses, bank charges, fundraising costs and similar charges) so 100% of the net funds can go directly to people in need.
“It is my belief that great communities are built by their citizens, private and corporate, working together to improve the quality of life. I hope the great spirit of giving, volunteering, and compassion will continue as the needs continue, months and years ahead. We’re a truly caring company. It is my intent that this caring knows no end,” states David A. Siegel, Owner and President.
The Westgate Resorts Foundation has provided grants to over 250 charities in the communities where Westgate owns and operates resorts. These wonderful organizations touch thousands of lives across the country and around the world. The funds that the Westgate Resorts Foundation distributes are targeted to groups that have submitted in-depth proposals about how the money and resources will be used and how the results will be measured. Over 100 company employees from all levels of the corporate structure gave of their time and talent to help determine which charities will receive support.
In addition to actual dollars, the Westgate Resorts Foundation supports local charities through in-kind contributions. Thousands of pieces of furniture and appliances are donated annually to local charities for use in their programs. Company-wide food drives, clothing drives, book drives and other worthy efforts are encouraged as just another way that our company can help those in need.
The latest addition to the Westgate Resorts Foundation’s community commitment initiative is the Westgate CareForce – our company volunteer program. This program mobilizes, coordinates, facilitates and directs the community volunteer activities of Westgate employees in areas where they live and work.
Since its inception, thousands of volunteer hours have been logged by employees. Employees have worked at Special Olympics events, fed lunch to the homeless, painted and updated the computer system at a local tutoring center for underprivileged children, read to the blind, participated in charity walks and runs, cleaned up rivers and roadsides, served lunch at homeless shelters, worked in the ice cream shoppe at the Give Kids The World Village, and sorted donations at a food bank just to name a few good deeds. In addition, company-wide efforts have been successful in collecting 10,000 pounds of food annually for local food pantries, hundreds of school supply items and backpacks for low-income children, and toys for children living in local orphanages.

GlossaryWelcome to the Westgate Family. Whether you are a new or previous owner, here is a list of terms that will help you understand your timeshare ownership.
Bonus Week: Incentive given at time of sale. Restrictions apply; refer to certificate for complete details and availability. Owner pays a fixed amount to use this benefit.
CSD: Customer Relationship Management system allows owners to make service requests directly to the appropriate departments via the Westgate Owners link on the www.westgateresorts.com home page. (See pages 10-13)
Developer Exchange: Either exchanging your reservation to dates other than what is owned or requesting to travel to an alternate Westgate property. (See page 44)
Fixed Week / Fixed Unit: Fixed week / fixed unit owners are entitled to their assigned unit during their assigned week.
Fixed Week / Float Unit: At our floating week resorts, fixed week / float unit owners are entitled to a unit of their assigned type during their assigned week. Pre-defined fixed week owners are entitled to their assigned special event.
Float Plan Disclosure (FPD): Changes have been made to the resort float plan. Please refer to your public offering statement (POS) as the float season weeks that you can reserve may differ from the current float plan that is listed in this guide.
Float Week / Float Unit: Float week / float unit owners are entitled to a unit of their assigned type during their assigned season.
Lock-off Villas: Sometimes referred to as lockout villas, they are villas that allow owners to separate their villa into more than one full week of usage. Refer to the lock-off guide on your home resort page. When utilizing the lock-off options, exchange fees will apply.
Maintenance and Tax Fees: Annual fees to owners to cover the expense of operating the resort: staffing, utilities, insurance, supplies, etc. and ad valorem real estate taxes levied by the local government per timeshare interest.
OAM: Online Account Management system allows owners to make online mortgage and maintenance & tax payments, change or setup automatic payment options, and change mailing address. Fixed week owners can confirm and manage their reservations via the Westgate Owners link on the www.westgateresorts.com home page. (See pages 14-15)
Public Offering Statement (POS): Also known as Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCR) at some properties. These documents detail the rights and restrictions of owners of each property. They are the legally binding policies to which the governing bodies have been made aware. They could be issued on CD-ROM or in booklet form.
Special Event Weeks (SEW): Pre-defined fixed weeks at our floating week resorts have a designated special event associated with them. The owner is entitled to the week that contains that designated special event. Please refer to your public offering statement (POS) for a list of special event weeks.
Split Week Usage: This allows owners to request two reservations totaling the seven nights of ownership, one reservation for three nights and the other for four nights. Restrictions on days requested exist. For resorts that offer this option, please call 1-800-925-9999 for assistance.
