Get involved withQuail Forever's
No Child Left Indoors™Initiative! This new initiative
is Quail Forever's response to a nationwidemovement to get kids outdoors, spurred in partby Richard Louv's popular book Last Child in
the Woods, Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder. There is a growing concern that we need to unplug kids from electronics and turn them on to the naturalworld. And we need to do it now before we
lose a generation of young people.Working with chapters, members and
conservation partners, Quail Forever will provide opportunities for youth and their
families to be involved in outdoor activitiesthrough youth habitat projects, outdoor events
and community events/activities.

Crooked Oaks and Auburn Oaks continueto be developed as our home and as aplace where folks can come to relax andenjoy the outdoors. Our hunting operationhas been expanded to include turkeys inaddition to quail and deer. The farm houseat Auburn Oaks, built in the early 1900s,
offers gracious accommodations for hunters but also is a beautiful setting for big events such as weddings, reunions, football weekends and other special occasions. The lodge at Crooked Oaks is a more rustic hunt-camp and also accommodates big events as well as hunters. And either one is a perfect place for peacefulretreats for you and your family.
It turns out that the best part of this operation for us has been the wonderful people we have met and the greatfriends we have made. The folks who come back every year have become part of our family. We invite you tojoin us for a memorable experience on "The Hunt" or in fellowship with your friends, or simply to take a breakfrom the pressures of life. I look forward to being your host at mealtimes, social hours and the inevitable bullsessions. You will be welcomed to either place with good old-timey Southern hospitality.
