We’re focused on undergraduate education. we’re committed to connecting our students

with whatever academic support they need

to be successful, and we have opportunities

for hands-on learning, research, volunteering

and paid internships.

We provide a great place for transfer students. More than half of UCF’s bachelor’s degrees

are awarded to community college transfer

students, including:

• 43 percent of engineering degrees

• 49 percent of business degrees

• 60 percent of nursing degrees

• 70 percent of teaching degrees

UCF was also the first university in Florida

to have an honor society—Tau Sigma—

exclusively for transfer students.

We put the world at your fingertips. we enroll about 1,300 international students

from 141 countries. Many of our curricula

include a strong international component

and offer study abroad programs in dozens

of countries.

We’re an undergraduate research powerhouse. The office of Undergraduate Research offers

paid research positions so that students can

work side-by-side with faculty researchers.

We have connections.UCF’s partnerships with industry,

organizations and Central Florida

communities continue to grow. Contacts

made as a student often lead to job

offers after graduation.

We’ll help you land a job. our Career Services professionals help

students gain practical work experience at

businesses, local municipalities and large

corporations. Many students land a job

because of this work experience.

While at UCF, my research projects and internship played

a significant role in earning my current position as a safety analyst with JetBlue Airways.

Admissionse encourage transfer students to apply as early as possible, as space is limited.

by applying early, students may benefit from scholarship and housing availability,

as well as a faster response time.

APPLYINgApply online at admissions.ucf.edu. be sure

to submit the signature page and residency

affidavit along with the application fee.

WhEN TO APPLYStudents can apply to UCF before they have

received an A.A. degree. Applying six to nine

months prior to your planned entry term will

ease your transition, may provide you with an

earlier decision and give you plenty of time to

pursue housing and financial aid opportunities.

if you are currently attending a Florida public

community/state college, watch for special

opportunities to apply when we visit your

campus during “Express Decision” events.

TRANSFER ADmISSION REqUIREmENTSAdmission is offered on a space-available

basis, so apply early. UCF operates on

a rolling admissions basis. Students

are notified of a decision within two to

four weeks of the completion of their

application. Applicants with fewer than 60

hours of completed college course work

must submit official high school transcripts,

SAT or ACT scores, and all college

transcripts. (if applicant has less than 60

hours of completed college course work,

UCF freshman eligibility requirements must

also be met.)

Applicants with 60 or more semester hours

of completed college course work must

meet English and math requirements and

fulfill the foreign language admissions

requirement. Those who have earned an

A.A. or articulated A.S. degree from a

Florida public community/state college

need only submit transcripts from each

college attended. Students completing one

of these degrees should apply well before

their degree is awarded.
