Freshman Admission Criteria

Applicants with a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a composite ACT score of at least 20 (or 950 on SAT critical reading and mathematics) are typically offered admission.

Application deadline for Fall Term admission is July 1. Application deadline for incoming freshmen wishing to be considered for merit-based scholarships is December 1 of their senior year.

Transfer Admission Criteria

Students wishing to transfer to Montevallo from another institution must have completed at least 24 hours of credit and maintained a minimum 2.0 college GPA.
