In an atmosphere that promotes fun and learning, participants will

be introduced to entrepreneurship as a viable career option. Youth

will identify opportunities for local small business ventures. As a

member of a team, participants will go through the business plan-

ning process to create and implement a business idea. Each busi-

ness team will even create and film a television commercial! The

week will conclude with the teams competing for great prizes! Spe-

cific camp goals include: to gain understanding of entrepreneurship as a viable

career option

to generate business ideas to create an atmosphere of fun

to meet and learn from successful entrepreneurs

to learn to work and cooperate in groups

to develop critical thinking skills

to identify and encourage entrepreneurs

to help participants learn about their community and

to learn how technology can be used in small businesses
