Have you ever been told something after about a week of looking or trying something and thought If I only I knew that at the start, or knew where I could look for that?
This is an important consideration for new employees.
Imagine, most of our new employees have all the skills, experience and qualifications thats why you were selected for the job! Our Essential Organisational Information is prepared to help you transition onto our organisation. Its our way of empowering you to have more familiarity with your new workplace, policies and functions.
By attending these essential information sessions, looking through the places weve stored it for ready reference were helping to build your knowledge base.
It may seem overwhelming at the start, but the most important aspect to remember is:

So, as a new employee with Durack there are probably a few things you want to know and most likely about your new role as a start.
We can start simple; there are two main kinds of roles within Durack Teaching and Non Teaching.
As a start; for those team members who applied online via jobs WA you may remember needing to view the JDF form to address selection criteria or find out more about the role. If you dont have a copy you can always request from your manager. JDF from Manager
You may want to know more information, such as when is it the busiest time of year? When do we take breaks (holidays)? When do we get paid? Calendar of the years structure (term breaks etc) is available, you can discuss with your manager how to structure your time around your areas busiest time. Just like regular school we also have term breaks!
