1. Every student needs to bring a copy of each and every class.2. If a student is late or brings no homework to class they must give a one minute speech or answer two questions.

Lesson I Speaking English Tips
Pages: 48, 50, 52
Class: Have students demonstrate each point one after the other.
Lesson II
About Outlook Round IIIPages: N / A
Class: Students learn about the events and rules of Round III this year.
HW I: Summarize the ten rules on pages 46 to 52 in two sentences each. That is a total oftwenty sentences.

Lesson III Public Speaking Tips
Pages: 66, 68, 70, 72
Class: Have students demonstrate each point one after the other. Once all points have been demonstrated pull
out a rubber hammer (as noted on page 78) and hit them every time they stutter.
Lesson IV Spontaneous Speech Tips
Pages: 118, 120, 122
Class: Have students demonstrate each point one after the other. Once all points have been demonstrated, use
students to demonstrate the review activities on page 124.
HW II: Summarize the four points on page 84 in two sentences each. That is a total ofeight sentences.

Lesson V Debate Phrases
Pages: 134, 136, 138, 140
Class: Have students demonstrate each phrase one after the other. Once all phrases have been demonstrated,
use students to stage a fun series of mock debates.
Lesson VI Improvisation
Pages: 182, 184, 186
Class: Students choose situations and act them out.
HW III: Grades 1-3 choose ten of the debate phrases on 134 140 and finish them. Grades 4-6 choose twenty of
the debate phrases and finish them.

Lesson VII Cultural Knowledge
Pages: 202 212
Class: Have students cover one item after the other. Once all items have been covered, use students to stage a
game show with fantastic prizes.
Lesson VIII Performing Skills
Pages: 228, 230, 232
Class: Have students demonstrate each point one after the other.
HW IV: Grades 1-3 choose ten of the items from pages 202 212 and summarize them in two sentences each.
Grades 4-6 choose twenty of the items and summarize them in two sentences each.

everyone gets a hug and you should take a group picture.

use students to stage a mock Round III event.
