    Oera, respondents report hain 3.5 technoo sta. This aries b oranizationa size, with SaOranizations reportin an aerae o 1.26 tech sta, and ver lare Oranizations reportin 8.56.

    On aerae, the ratio o tech sta to oranizationa sta is 1 tech sta to abot 60 oranizationasta. This ratio aries, aain, b oranizationa size, ro abot 1-to-24 sta or Sa Oranizations,to 1-to-116 sta or ver lare Oranizations.

    When ookin at aerae tenres or technoo sta and oranizationa Tech Adoption ees, weond that no respondent ro a Strin Oranization reported tenre reater than 8 ears oran tech sta position, whie respondents ro leadin Oranizations indicated seera positionswith ore than 10 ears o tenre.

    When we asked respondents to indicate chanes in spendin between isca ears 2011 and 2010, thecateories ost ike to see increases in expenditres were Cod/Hosted Sotware (34% reportedincrease) and Hardware (33% reported increase).

    We saw a siniicant increase in the percentae o respondents reportin that the hae a oratechnoo pan (or that technoo is part o their oranizationa strateic pan): 55% reportedes, copared to jst 40% ast ear.

    There was aso an increase this ear in the percentae o those indicatin that their technoodepartent (or sta person) reports direct to the Exectie Director/CEO: 49.4% this ear,copared to 39% ast ear.

    Near 44% o respondent oranizations are considerin ROI o technoo projects or proras ateast soewhat. Howeer, on 7% are eaatin ROI rioros or rear.

    When we ooked at responses to the ROI qestion b Tech Adoption ees, we ond that abot 68%o respondents ro leadin Oranizations indicated that their oranizations easre ROI at eastsoewhat, whie on 33% o respondents ro Strin Oranizations are easrin ROI at eastsoewhat.

    There is a correation between oranizationa bdet size and reported Tech Adoption, with areroranizations ore ike to indicate the are leadin Oranizations. Howeer, we are happ toreport that leadin Oranizations can be ond across a bdet sizes, with 8.3% o SaOranizations indicatin that the are at that ee.

    New in this ears report is the Technoo Eectieness score, which aes an oranizationscrrent ee o technoo readiness and eectieness, based on their resorces and se oresorces. The hihest possibe Tech Eectieness Score is 30. The aerae score o respondentswas 18.27
