At Montclair State, applying is easy.

If you’ll be applying as a first-time freshman,

you can apply one of two ways:

1. Early Action. Montclair State offers a non-

binding Early Action application to students

who have a consistent record of academic

excellence in rigorous courses and

demonstrated involvement in their school

and community. The best candidates for

Early Action will be in the top 10 percent of

their graduating class and have a GPA

above 3.5. If you think you fit the bill,

submit your application and all supporting

documents by November 15, 2011. Your

admission decision will be mailed to you on

December 15, 2011.

2. Traditional Admission. If you’re not

ready for Early Action but still want to

make Montclair State your home, submit

an application for our Traditional Admission

review cycle. Applications and supporting

documents are due by December 15, 2011,

and admission decisions will be mailed on

February 1, 2012.
