1. Setup Guide 1.1. Place the SIM card into the slot on the WebSessions Stick. The Stick is a plug and play device, so simply

insert it into a USB port on your computer and the Dashboard software will automatically launch. The first screen that appears lets you know that the InstallShield Wizard is initializing.

The second screen notifies you that the software is being installed on your computer.

1.2. After the program has been correctly installed this screen will appear requesting your PIN. Your PIN is the SIM card’s security code which can be found in the original envelope that the SIM card came in.

Enter SIM card PIN number.

Click on the box to save the PIN.

Click on “OK” to continue.


1.3. The Dashboard software will then open.

1.4. To change the language to English click on: “Einstellung” then select “Allgemein” and then “Sprache”.


In the pull down menu, select “EnglischEnglischEnglischEnglisch” (English).

Click on the drop down menu.


Click on “OK” to confirm the change, then on “Ja” to restart the Vodafone software.

Click on “OK” to confirm.

A popup will appear informing you that this program must be restarted to apply the requested changes, click on “Ja” to restart.


1.5. NEXT: Selecting your WebSessions session time.

1.6. A German-language web page will open, to switch to English click on “English Version”.

Click on WebSessions “Connect” to go to the web page to select the desired session time and payment method.

“Mobile Connections” connection should only be chosen if you have a contract account. Note – If you choose “Mobile Connections” with a prepaid account, the connection will be charged 0.09 € per min. with a billing period of 5 min.


1.7. On this page you can choose the session time and payment method.

First choose the session time. You can choose between 30 days, 7 days, 24 hours, 15 minutes, or 5 minutes.

Second choose how you would like to pay. You can choose from payment via credit card, charge from CallYa-Credit (subtracted from the money you have stored on the SIM card), payment via bill (this can only be chosen if you have a Vodafone contract), or via WebSessions voucher. After the session time has been chosen and the payment method (refer to pages 7 – 13 for more details to payment methods), click on “Next” to continue.


2. Payment methods

2.1. Payment via Credit-Card

Enter Credit Card Number

Choose the session time and choose “Payment via Credit-Card”. Then click on “Next”

On this screen you have the possibility to choose your “credit

card type” by clicking on the drop down field

Then enter your “credit card number”. To enter how long your credit card is valid click on the first drop down to choose the “month” and in the second drop down to choose the “year”. Enter here the “security number” of the credit card (this can be found on the back of the credit card). Entering your “e-mail address” is optional. If you do enter your e-mail address you will receive an invoice in PDF format. Click on “Next” to continue.


The next screen requests that you confirm the information by clicking on “Next”.

Click on “Next” to be forwarded to your desired internet site.

If you clicked on save information you are required to make up a password that you need each time when you pay with this credit card.


It is important that you do not close the next screen. This screen provides you with important information, on how much session time is remaining and warns you when the time is running out.

Before the session time is over you will receive the information that your session is about to end. When you would like to continue click on “extend WebSessions” to book an additional WebSessions.

This screen lets you monitor how much Internet time is remaining. Remember that as soon as a WebSessions is selected the allotted time continues to count down regardless of whether you are online or not.


If you click on “Extend WebSessions” the link will take you to the screen that provides you with the possibility to choose session time and payment methods again.


2.2. Payment via Charge from CallYa-Credit

On the next screen, the opportunity is given to check your entries before your session time starts. Also on the bottom right hand side you can see your actual credit before the session price is subtracted. After you have checked if the session time, the price, and the payment method is correct then click on “Next” to start the session or on “Back” to correct session time or payment method.

Choose the session time and choose payment via “Charge

from CallYa-Credit”. Then click on “Next”


On this screen you can see that the amount has been deducted from your credit. Click on “Next” to be forwarded to your desired internet site.




2.2.1. Not enough credit on the WebSessions SIM card.

If not enough credit is available on the WebSessions SIM card, you will receive an error message. This message informs you that there is not enough credit available to deduct the requested session time fee. Please reload your credit or choose another payment method. Refer to page 24 – 26 for more information on how to load a Vodafone CallNow cash card.


2.3. Payment via the bill of another Vodafone mobile phone number

Note: To use this type of payment method you must have an existing Vodafone cell phone contract.

On this screen you must enter the existing Vodafone contract cell phone number without the +49 or 0. After entering the Vodafone contract cell phone number, click on “Next” to continue. Then you will receive via SMS an authorization code that you will need to confirm the booking of the WebSessions.

Choose the session time and choose “Payment via the bill of another

Vodafone mobile phone number”

Then click on “Next”


The SMS that you will receive from Vodafone will state:

Your Vodafone WebSessions password is: XXXXXXXX - have a lot of fun in the internet - Your Vodafone WebSessions-Team The next screen requests that you confirm the information by entering the password that you have received per SMS, then click on “Next”.

Click here if you would like to save your information.

Enter the password that was received via SMS


Now the amount for the WebSessions time will be added onto your next contract invoice. Click on “Next” to be forwarded to your desired internet site.




2.4. Payment via WebSessions Voucher Note: If you use a WebSessions Voucher it is not possible to choose the session time.

Enter the voucher code then click on “Next”.

If you have a WebSessions Voucher click on “WebSessions Voucher” and then on “Next” to continue. On the next page, enter the voucher code.


After the voucher code has been entered a welcome screen will appear, click on “Next” to continue.

Do not close this screen. This screen lets you monitor how much Internet time is remaining. Remember that as soon as a WebSessions is selected the allotted time continues to count down regardless of whether you are online or not.



If you click on “Extend WebSessions” the link will take you to the screen that provides you with the possibility again choose session time and payment methods.


3. How to load a Vodafone CallNow cash card.

Purchase a Vodafone CallNow € 15 or € 25 cash card

On the back of the card there is a scratch field. Use a coin to scratch off and reveal the hidden code.


Go to the screen where you can choose your WebSessions time and payment method.

The next screen that appears requires that you enter the Vodafone CallNow 13 or 15 digit code. This code can be found on the back of the Vodafone CallNow card (refer to page 15).

Click on “Redeem of Vodafone-CallNows


You will than receive a confirmation that your account has been now credited.

On the screen where you can choose your WebSessions time and payment method, it is possible to view the new credit amount.
