MGCP

• Multinational Geospatial Co-production Program

• International project to create 2D-vectordata, primarily

based upon satellite imagery

• World divided in cells of 1°x 1°

• Production scale 1:50k or 1:100K

• Based upon orthorectified high resolution (HR) imagery

– SPOT-5, IKONOS (multispectral), WorldView (panchro),..

• Additional data available to help the extraction of the

vectors

– Low resolution imagery (Landsat,..)

– Very High Resolution imagery on city area (Helios)

– Existing mapping

– Elevation data
