American Business Council of Dubai & the Northern Emirates November 30, 2011 -For Immediate Release- New Board elected at the American Business Council DUBAI - The American Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates held their Annual General Meeting on November 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai. The newly elected Board of Directors to serve in 2012 was announced at the meeting. John Podgore was re-elected as President of the Council. Also elected to the 2012 American Business Council Board of Directors were: Dana Salloum, Executive Vice President; Mac McClelland, Vice President Programs; Katie Shaver, Vice President Membership; Katherine D’Arcy, Vice President Financial Affairs and Treasurer; Ramsey Jurdi, Vice President Legal Affairs and Secretary and General Board Members - Stephanie Fisher, John Lancia, Jimmy Larsen, Anne Jafery and Frank Kemnetz. Mr. Podgore served as the Council’s President in 2011 and as Vice President for Legal Affairs in 2010. Under Mr. Pogore’s leadership the Council has advanced their mission to assist the American business community on issues such strengthening the economic bonds between the US and UAE and facilitating the activities of American businesses present in the UAE. He has directed the Council during a period of increased achievements through their many business, networking and social events. The American Business Council is a member driven organization of key business professionals in the American expat community. The local partner with Dewey and LeBoeuf, a global law firm headquartered in New York, Mr. Podgore advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, focusing on the energy sector and project-financed infrastructure within the UAE and the broader Middle East / North Africa (MENA) region. He is fluent in four languages: Arabic, French, English and Russian. He also frequently advises on transactions involving both the Middle East and the former Soviet Union. Mr. Podgore is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and Princeton University. As chairman of Princeton University’s alumni organization in the UAE, he is active in strengthening the links between the MENA region and US colleges and universities. During summer of 2011 he was instrumental in bringing Yale University’s Whiffenpoofs, a collegiate a cappella group to Dubai. DUBAI - The American Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates held their Annual General

Meeting on November 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai. The newly elected Board of Directors to
