Hello Friends! Yes, it’s true! ObesityHelp loves Atlanta, Georgia and by popular demand, we are hosting another fantastic, fun, and informational event this fall! We would love to see you there so be sure to save the dates: October 5th and 6th, 2012. Although there are a couple of months before the event takes place, tickets are selling fast. There are still some hotel rooms left at the Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel but they have indicated that they may sell out that weekend so be sure to make your reservations soon! Check out the events tab on ObesityHelp.com to book your room at our group rate, but don’t wait too long! The OH team is very excited to have invited Bryson Bmoney Jenkins to entertain you! Have you had the opportunity to meet him yet? He has the most fantastic story and is such a talent. As a WLS post-op, he wants to give back to the OH community, and performing for you is one of the best ways we can think of. We love him and you will to! Feel like doing a little “shopping” or paying it forward? The OH Clothing Exchange, located in the Savannah room, will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 5th for those of you who would like to make clothing donations. The clothing exchange store will be re-open for free “shopping” from noon that day until 5 p.m. on Saturday! Out with the old and in with the new right? 2012 OH EVENTS One of our fantastic OH support group lead- ers, Deborah Turrell, is coordinating the fash- ion show for Saturday night during our closing party! We would love to see you strut your stuff and celebrate your weight loss success no mat- ter where you are on your weight loss journey. If you can’t PM Deborah, please email your high resolution before & after photos along with your full name, surgeon’s name, surgery date and (optional) amount of weight lost. Use the address [email protected] for this information and for any questions you might have. In addition to all the fun, we’re providing great informational seminars for you in the main sessions and in breakouts rooms. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn new in- sights from dedicated professionals and to get answers to the questions you may have. Don’t be shy… we always want to make new friends, and we will have plenty of very friendly greeters to help you find your way! This is the best place you can come to have a good time and feel comfortable among your peers. Created to be a gathering place for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Centennial Olympic Park is a verdant oasis that serves both locals and tourists. Martin Luther King Jr. National History Site-Visitors can pay tribute and learn about Martin Luther King Jr. at this National Historic Site, which includes his crypt, with eternal flame; and a visitor center that showcases his important civil rights work.
