PLEASE NOTE FOLLOWING POINTS REGARDING THE COUNSELLING AND

ADMISSION SCHEDULE:

1. Candidate is required to appear personally for the counseling. In case thecandidate has been short-listed in two or more categories, he/she is required toappear in the both counselling sessions.

2. Please Bring all the Original Degrees, Detail Marks Certificates of class 10 th, 12th 

and qualifying examination and Migration Certificate of your last attendedUniversity to justify your claim for admission. In case of non-availability ofMigration Certificate, at the time of counseling, candidate is required to submit his/herMigration Certificate before 31st August, 2012. After this date, candidate will have tobear fine as per University rules. If result of the qualifying examination has not beendeclared, Character Certificate from the last institution attended MUST be produced. Itis absolutely necessary to produce the result of qualifying exam by August 31, 2012 by12.00 noon, failing which the admission will be cancelled. In the absence of proof ofhaving qualified with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), the admission shall automaticallystand cancelled. A photocopy of the attested certificates must be deposited at thetime of counselling.

3. Original and appropriate certificate (as per format given in the Handbook ofInformation) for claiming reservation under a category must be produced. Affidavitmust also be produced where required.

4. In case there is a gap in your academic career, you are required to furnish anaffidavit to the effect, attested by the 1st Class Magistrate, that you were not involved in

an offence/ unlawful activities during the gap years.5. The candidates will have to deposit the fee as mentioned in the following table in

the form of Demand Draft in favour of REGISTRAR, PANJAB UNIVERSITY,CHANDIGARH, payable at Chandigarh.

fee (Rs.85/-).

6. Candidates can also deposit the fee in two installments. First installment amounting toRs.1,04,417/- (Rupees One Lac Four Thousand Four Hundred and Seventeen only) isto be deposited at the time of counseling.

7. Fee is to be deposited at the time of counselling and admission session. In case,candidate wishes to take loan from the bank, an extension of 10 days in depositof fee may be granted on giving an undertaking that the candidate has appliedfor loan and production of proof of having applied for bank loan.

8. In addition to the tuition fee as above, the candidates will have to deposit

another Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousands only) in form of Demand Draft infavour of Director, University Institute of Applied Management Sciences(UIAMS), Panjab University, payable at Chandigarh towards Summer Training,Placement, Business Club, case unit etc.
