Greenville Health System continues to provide clinical training to third- and fourth-year University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia students by serving since 1991 as a regional campus for that program.

Starting in 2009, Greenville Health System and the University of South Carolina jointly initiated development of a separately accredited medical school that would provide all four years of medical education at Greenville Health System. Coincident with Greenville Health System celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2012, the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville enrolled its charter class.

Undergraduate Medical Education at Greenville Hospital System

Greenville Hospital System continues to provide clinical training to 3rd and 4th year University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia students by serving since 1991 as a regional campus for that program.
