As a group, they volunteered to help with daily class check-in, Play Days and the Colorado Open championships. They planned and executed our third annual Glow-Ball tournament, our second annual Family Day and they worked with the staff on the season-ending Play Day and BBQ on October 12th. In the off-season they continued to work together and ran a food drive with the Salvation Army over the holidays. The 10-member council have become great role models for the rest of the children this season!School Day ProgrammingWe had another great year working with the students at Martin Luther King Early College. They love spending time away from the school and learning something new. In total, we reached 306 students through this program. Our school day programming efforts grew into Landmark Academy offering a week long in-school program followed by a 6-week after school program at Buffalo Run Golf Course, where we transitioned 20% of the students we taught in school! We continued growth with Denver School of Science and Technology by assisting in creating CHSAA certified golf programs on the high school and middle school levels. Additionally, we ran in-school programs with Amesse Elementary (reaching 800 students), Sims Fayola International Academy, Valdez Elementary and Vista Peak Exploratory Campus! New Programming - LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Program & Birdie Competitive ClubThe LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Program was taught exclusively by LPGA female instructors, and gave girls seven years of age and older the opportunity to learn and socialize without the presence and distraction of boys. The Birdie Competitive Club was geared towards middle-school aged kids that have progressed to Birdie Level, the six-week program was added to teach advanced golf skills for girls and boys that want to explore becoming competitive golfers in high school and college.Certification Progression95 of our 259 full-season members (36%) completed certification requirements and advanced to the next level for 2012.

(or a 3-year commitment of $5,500 per year)
