Bid Procedure – The bulls are available for viewing any time prior to and through ouropen house dates of January 5-6th, 2013, at the ranch. This will allow you to evaluatethe bulls at your convenience and in a relaxed atmosphere. The bulls will be hauled toDenver on January 15, 2013 to prepare for competition in the National Western StockShow Pen Bull Show. There, the bulls will be ultrasounded, weighed and scrotalmeasured. All bulls will carry a base bid of $1,900. Bulls will be bid off in increments of $100 upto $2,500. From $2,500 and up, bid increments will be $250. You may place your bidany time prior to the open house and bid-off; however, bids must be received by 4:00p.m., MOUNTAIN TIME, JANUARY 19th. Should two or more individuals place bidson a bull, those individuals will have the opportunity to bid-off against each otherwhen bids close at 4:00 p.m. MOUNTAIN TIME, JANUARY 19th. All consultants willbe available to take calls for the bid-off of the bulls. You may place bids on as manybulls as you wish. If you are successful in purchasing a bull in the bid-off, you maywithdraw your bids on bulls not yet sold. Bulls will be bid-off in catalog order. We are retaining 1/4 semen interest in all bulls sold.

Bulls will be held at the ranch for no cost until April 15, 2013. They will be gaintested, fertility checked, and delivered ready for service at that time to any destinationin the Continental US free of charge.All cattle selling are guaranteed to be free of all known genetic defects.Insurance – You may purchase insurance at the sale.

Durhams for Denver 2013 marks the seventh consecutive year of assembling our best bulls and preparing them forsale. This years offering is the largest yet, and easily the best, by a country mile. Our ET program is taking hold and theresults are beyond expectation. A stout, uniform set of fall bulls with time tested genetics is followed by a group of yearling bulls that is truly a pleasure to present for auction. This years yearlings are ahead of where they have been inthe past. Know this, we did nothing different in developing them. I can only attribute it to our program advancing to another level. It is comprised of the best individuals we have ever raised, with unsurpassed depth and variety. We experienced our driest summer in years, yet one would never know it looking at the stock. We are truly excited to present them for your appraisal both at the open house and again in Denver.

We understand these times are trying for many. Drought is now the major concern for 2013. In developing these cattle, we have worked extremely hard to create them not only to be adaptable, but thrive in any environment. This isevidenced by JSF bulls currently being utilized naturally in 28 states, 4 Canadian provinces, not to mention AI throughout the lower 48 as well as the foreign countries of Argentina, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
