The Saint Raphael Memorial Golf Tournament is an 18-year tradition which became a memorial event in 2000 after Ryan O’Connell, a third-grader at our school, went to be with God far too soon. Thanks to the generosity of his family, a scholarship fund exists in his name and is the catalyst for this tournament that also generates additional funding for student and teacher needs not covered by our tuition. We rely on sponsorships and in-kind donations to make the tournament a success.

St. Raphael Catholic School is located at 5815 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh. We have approximately 300 families at our school, concentrated in the North Raleigh area and beyond. We expect as many as 100 golfers and volunteers at our tournament. Our interests and cultures are diverse, but we are united in the common mission of educating the total person in a vibrant Christian community where each individual is recognized and respected, where religious values are central, and where academic excellence is achieved. We have faith in every child.
