Company HistoryOlympic Arms, Inc. was founded by Robert C. Schuetz, and began asSchuetzen Gun Works (SGW) in 1956, manufacturing barrels in ColoradoSprings, Colorado. Prior to that Mr. Schuetz had been partnered in businesswith well known gunsmith P.O. Ackley. In 1975 the company moved toOlympia, Washington, and while its business in rie barrels and barrelblanks thrived, it also began manufacturing complete custom bolt-actionries. In 1982, Schuetzen Gun Works began to manufacture AR15/M16 riesand components under the trade name of Olympic Arms, Inc, while custombolt action ries continued to be produced under the SGW brand. In 1987the company purchased Arizona-based M.S. Safari, adding the M1911 pistolto its lineup under the name Safari Arms.

Olympic was the rst to introduce features now seen as commonplaceon the AR15 platform. It was the rst company to produce at-top upperreceivers, free oating aluminum hand guards, pistol caliber conversions,and AR-15 based pistols. Olympic also manufactures many AR-15s incalibers other than the standard 5.56x45mm. Olympic was the rst inthe industry to offer AR15 style rearms in 9x19mm and .45 ACP, 10mm,

7.62x39, and the Winchester Super Short Magnum cartridges.

Olympic Arms is one of the few AR15 manufacturers to make every majorcomponent part in-house. They have been found to constantly meet therigid specications of military, government and law enforcement agencycontracts. Olympic Arms has provided rearms for Law Enforcement andGovernment agencies around the globe, including every branch of the U.S.Armed Forces.

Lifetime Warranty

Our goal at Olympic Arms, Inc. (OAI, we and us) is to lead the industry in customer service and satisfaction.reason, we are proud to offer the most comprehensive factory warranty of its kind by any AR-15 manufacturer.

We will warranty all parts and products manufactured by OAI against any and all manufacturers defects in materiaworkmanship, which effect the satisfactory operation of the item being warranted. This portion of the warranty istransferable.

The liability of OAI is limited to repair or replacement of only those parts determined by our staff to be defective opart of the factory. The decision to repair or replace a warranted product will be made by OAI as necessary to procustomer with a properly operating nished product. OAI assumes no liability for accidental or consequential damfollowing items are specically excluded from coverage under this warranty:

1. Normal wear of the protective nishes and of all metal or plastic parts.2. Damage or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, or unauthorized repair or alteration.3. Damage or malfunction resulting from barrel obstructions.4. Damage or malfunction resulting from use of other than factory SAAMI specication brass cased new productionammunition.5. Satisfactin guarantee

Beyond warranty, Olympic Arms, Inc. (OAI, we and us) guarantees complete customer satisfaction. If you arcompletely satised with the purchase of any OAI product based on any product or warranty related reason*, simplto us within sixty (60) days along with a copy of the original invoice from Olympic Arms, and we will replace the iteor refund** the original purchase price (to be determined by OAI). Restrictions apply, see below.

*Product or warranty related reason is dened as any warranty or service/repair issue, or deciency in the advertisperformance of the product in question. It does not apply to dealers and/or individuals who, after having received feel as though a different product would be better suited for their needs. In cases such as this, exchanges can be new, unred, products returned in their original packaging along with a copy of the original sales invoice. A restoc(currently 15%) may apply.

**Refunds are made on returns based on our advertised Lifetime Warranty and/or Satisfaction Guarantee. All credipurchases made directly from Olympic Arms will be refunded to the credit card on which the original purchase waspurchases, or COD orders will be refunded via an Olympic Arms company check to be issued no earlier than ve (5)days after the returned product has been received. Shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the proreturned is determined to have been defective from the time it left OAI and are not refunded or credited on non-wrelated exchanges. If your purchase was made through an OAI retailer/dealer, then they (the retailer/dealer) have the option to retur

product to OAI for a replacement, credit, or refund of the original purchase price as well. OAI does not dictate thepolicies of OAI retailers/dealers. Check with your retailer/dealer for their policy before purchasing.

Warranty Repair

All returns for warranty repair must be shipped to the address specied in the Returns section. Determination asthe problem with the returned product is covered under warranty will be made after it is inspected by the expert tstaff of Olympic Arms. Due to the fact that many products returned for warranty reasons do not qualify under the wthe customer is responsible for shipping costs in returning products for inspection. If once inspected the product refact qualies for repair under the Olympic Arms Warranty, reasonable shipping costs will be refunded to the customof the receipt for the shipping costs incurred can be provided.

Our non-ring prop guns look and feel just like real rearms.These models cannot re live ammunition nor can they bemodied to do so. An FFL is not required to purchase non-ringprop rearms.

Olympic Arms non-ring models have been used in big screenHollywood movies such as Clear and Present Danger, Eraser,Batman Returns, Bad Boys, The Professional, The Rock and more.

Non-ring prop models can be built to any congurationimaginable because they do not function and are not subject torearms restrictions set by the BATFE.

Cobalt Trainer

The purpose of the COBALT TRAINER as a complete rie is to be a BATFE classied non-ring ritraining, but to be one as functionally similar to a live-ring rie as possible. One denitive chof the COBALT TRAINER is the design of the lower receiver.

Brian Schuetz of Olympic Arms, Inc. designed the COBALT TRAINER lower receiver in a manner tthe part to maintain the appearance of its live-ring counterpart and at the same time incorpomodication that keeps the COBALT TRAINER lower receiver from being converted to a live-re part.

Noting the photos below it can be seen that a functioning trigger is incorporated though the trihousing area of the lower receiver is a solid piece. This design change prevents a fully functionfrom being installed into the lower receiver which in turn prevents the COBALT TRAINER lower from being used in a manner it was not intended for.

The COBALT TRAINER lower receiver still accepts standard magazines and includes a magazine cwith button. The receiver can have various standard thread buttstocks installed and includes asafety-selector assembly.
