Now in its seventh year, this two-hour mini-camp for the
very young provides a music and art experience for children with caregivers. In a 30-minute music session, children and adults will sing, move, dance, play instru- ments, and chant finger plays and rhymes centered around the week- ly theme. The remainder of the morning includes an opening ses- sion, musical play, free-play (out-
side — weather permitting), story time, art time, and an end-of-morning wrap-up session. Daily themes listed below are as of brochure printing deadline and may be revised slightly prior to the start of camp.
Requirement **Children must meet the age requirement as of July 1, 2013.
Maximum Enrollment Each week is limited to 16 children accompanied by an adult caregiver. All registered campers will receive a Westminster Conservatory T-shirt (see registration form).
Schedule Each session runs for one week and offers a different theme. Families may choose to sign up for any number of weeks (see fee schedule on next page).

Celebrating its 22nd year, Musical Jamboree invites young children
to explore musical concepts through experiences close to home and far away. The program is designed for children’s active participation in a relaxed, child-centered, develop- mentally-appropriate musical experi- ence. Grouped by age and grade level, campers spend their mornings
rotating among three classrooms which provide opportunities for singing, play- ing Orff instruments (barred and percussion), creating ensembles, listening to live and recorded music, playing musical games, interpreting music through creative movement, dramatizing stories, and making crafts linked to the daily theme. Each classroom is supervised by an Early Childhood Music Educator with an adult assistant (over 18 years). A mid-morning break provides outside play- time, weather permitting. Families will receive daily electronic activity pages containing information on the day’s events and ideas for continuing the themes at home. Each Friday, there is a Family Time at the end of the morning during which the children share their favorite activities from the week.
