Aluminum Access Towers

3T Ladder Frame Towers Available in two widths: SINGLE WIDTH 0.7M WIDE and DOUBLE WIDTH 1.35M WIDE Both single and double width ladder frames are available in three, four and five rung sizes to provide maximum platform options. The tower comprises of the minimum possible multi-purpose components, no separate ladders or guardrail frames are necessary. All frames can be used as uppers or lowers simply place your platform on the third rung below the top of the tower and the correct guardrail height is achieved.

Advanced Guardrail Towers Available in two widths: SINGLE WIDTH 0.7M WIDE and DOUBLE WIDTH 1.35M WIDE This new advanced guardrail makes use of specially designed guard rail units. The guard rail units provide collective fall prevention and are in place before the operator accesses the platform The specially designed guardrail units can be used in conjunction with our standard MK Tower Single and Double Width Towers.

232 Towers The Euro 232 tower conforms to TUV DIN BS EN 1004 European standard. It is available in two widths: SINGLE WIDTH 0.7M WIDE and DOUBLE WIDTH 1.35M WIDE This new tower has a 232mm rung spacing which enables climbable access on either side of the tower still ensuring internal access through the trapdoor 3T method. This new Tower contains 3 types of frames, 6 rung, 8 rung and 10 rung to ensure flexibility on different platform heights. Available in three different lengths, 2m, 2.5m and 3m.

Tower Components

Crimping Ten indent configuration to resist tension and torque load.

Extremely strong, the casting would rupture or the tube fracture before the joint would fail.

Under test conditions crimped joints are at least twice as durable as a welded joint even when the crimped joint has loosened due to abuse.

Platform Bolted wide hook extrusion for easy replacement.

Plywood deck with non-slip mesh phenol finish.

Heavy duty frame to give maximum strength and maximum deflection of 9mm under test conditions.

Carbon spring steel wind lock clip as standard.

Adjustable Leg

Rolled square thread for increased strength and durability

Multi-start for rapid adjustment

Very robust. Burrs caused by knocks can easily be removed without risk of weakening leg

Full nut ensures loading down the leg is uniform

Braces Colour code for ease of identification

Seam welded tube for fine tolerance control

Improved strength characteristics of seam welded tube that is 10% stronger than braces made of extruded tube

Plain Frames

All frames can be used anywhere in the tower, no special lower, upper or guardrail frames required

The fine tolerance seam welded tube used in the main frame construction ensures all components fit perfectly

All frames have four reinforcing struts to increase resistance to twist and racking

Ladder Frames All frames can be used anywhere in the tower, no special

lower, upper or guardrail frames required

The fine tolerance seam welded ribbed tube used in the Ladder frame construction provides safe secure footing for user confidence

The ladder elements are constructed from the same seam welded tube, and added to the frame as an H section. This increases the durability of the frame and helps to prevent twisting and racking

Easily portable and maneuverable, either open or closed, the unit passes easily through standard doorways.

Both lightweight and robust.

Provides a working platform 0.7m wide and 2m long.

Six optional platform levels between 0.2m and 1.7m will suit most requirements.

Fitted with lockable 5” castors and non-slip platform boards.

Captive folding bracing system means minimum components. When closed the board will hook onto the unit for compact storage.

Minifold Unit The Minifold Unit is ideal for all the jobs that require a steady hand, such as painting the windows, hanging wallpaper, cleaning the gutters, or just trimming the hedge. Either inside or outside your home or around the work place.

Ideal for one man use, unfold the unit, fit the board and start work.

Provides a working platform 0.7m wide and 1.5m long.

Staircase Access

Stairwell Access Unit The need for safe access on both industrial and domestic stairwells has long been a problem for the hire industry. The basic stairwell pack features special narrow base plates, and non-slip platform boards. Easy access from both sides of the stairwell unit to the platform is provided by a ‘walk through ladder frame’. Simply walk through the frame and climb up the ladder.

Stairpod 500 Podium The unit has been designed to provide a safe way of working on staircases, providing a platform level of 0.5m For all of those applications that are just out of reach, the Stairpod is the answer! Allowing stable, safe access whilst working on a staircase, this unit is ideal for 1 man use & rapid access. This unit is also suitable for use on flat ground, providing platform levels of 0.25m & 0.5m Stairpod 500 Podium

PAS250 Podium Steps

Microfold 1000 Podium Step This unit has been designed to provide a safe way of working at low levels and offers four platform levels of: 250mm, 500mm, 750mm, and 1m

Unique Features: With a telescopic handrail section, the correct guardrail height is achieved at each of the four levels, to ensure user safety. When open or closed the unit will pass through the doors and corridors with ease.

Providing a platform level of 2m (Working Height of 4m) Ideal low level access for internal and external use. The inclined ladder allows a gradual ascend to the working platform. This unit has a folding mechanism, great for transportation and storage. Goalpost Frames Goalpost frames are used in areas where access is needed at the foot of a tower, for example, a doorway, or window or can be used if an obstacle is preventing the tower from being constructed, such as a hedge or a working station. Three Optional Lengths include 2m, 2.5m & 3m Standard frame offers a maximum clearance of up to around 1.8m subject to the type of obstacle in question. Contact MK Tower if you have a bespoke requirement for clearance on your access tower.

Bridging Units

A quick and simple way of creating a bridge on two towers... Bridge Beams are the easiest way to link two towers together to create a very large working platform area and a long clear span between them. Ideal for bridging over machines, desks, pipe work runs etc. With the use of standard ladder frame tower components, the systems are very cost effective. Available in 2m, 2.5m & 3m Lengths

We can also repair ladders, staging boards, bridge beams etc. All repairs are jig worked to ensure 100% accuracy and repeatability. Our repair team have many years experience in the industry and welds are tested to BS EN 9606-2:2004 each year to ensure quality throughout.
