    coverage of -90dBm (see propagation maps). It will also provide continuous coverage to the neighbor cell

    sites called Landover, Lanham Business Park and EntcnJrise Road.

    There are no alternative existing structures within a one- mile radius from the

    proposed site that were considered in lieu of the new supporting structure.

    The proposed location of 10001 Ardwick Ardmore Road, Upper Marlboro,

    MD 20774 is not only the closestsite to the target objective, but is alsoa

    school property which is preferred asgovernment land by the County zoning

    code aswell asthe Prince George's County school board.

    ToWhom It May Concern:

    With regards to the Milestone Communications and Verizon Wireless considerations for

    screeningsat the proposed site, it has been determined that all ground equipment, aswell

    asa generator, will be screened in all cardinal directions by a new 6' high board on board

    fencing. The equipment will be stored inside an approximately 12'-0 x 17'-0' equipment

    shelter located inside the proposed fenced compound. The location of the facility provides

    natural screening by the existing tree line (approximately 70' high) from the North and

    West.

    With this said, all related ground equipment, will be screened to 100%opacity, per Sec24-

    475.06.02 the Prince George's County Zoning Ordinance.

    Milestone Communications and Verizon Wireless considered numerous disguiseddesigns

    for the support structure. However, due to the required height of the pole here and the

    setting, a disguised pole does not

    fit

    appropriately. Both parties remain open to discussing

    the color of the structure. The current design calls for a gray galvanizedsteel pole.

    To Whom It May Concern:

    Notif ication letters were mailed on March 31, 2014 to the County

    Council member, the Mayor of Glenarden, MD, and all adjoining and abutting

    property owners and civic associations as provided by the M-NCPPC. In addition,

    notif ication was sent to the principal of the school, and the City Council

    President, City of Glenarden, as well as 277 additional nearby property owners in

    an effort to broaden the notificat ion. (Copies of the letters and addresses follow

    this page.) The school also posted a one page informational flyer on their

    website and sent out a Tweet regarding the project.

    In consultation with the school, Milestone Communications also held a

    community meeting on April 22 at the Gold Room at the James R.Cousins, Jr.

    Municipal Center, 8600 Glenarden Parkway, Glenarden, MD 20706. This meeting

    was not officially requested as a result of our notification letters, but a proactive

    community outreach measure. There were eight (8) members from the

    community who attended the meeting. A formal presentation was provided by

    Milestone and questions and answers occurred aswell. Milestone also presented

    to the City of Glenarden on April 7, 2014.

    Within the 30 day period following the letters of notificat ion, the Ardwick

    Springdale CivicAssociation asked for a briefing, and Milestone iscoordinating a

    meeting with them.

    Milestone Communications representatives have also briefed and discussed this

    project with the Councilmember and/or the Councilmember's office

    representatives prior to the submission of the application.
