2014 Heritage PTA Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser

The Healthy Way to Raise Money for our School!  

Who:  All students at Heritage Elementary School  What: A 1 hour walk mixed with fun music, games and dancing  When: Friday, September 26th 

Primary Walk 9:30 ­ 10:30 am Intermediate Walk 2:00 ­ 3:00 pm 

Where:  The Heritage Intermediate Soccer Field  Why:  To raise money for our school, get exercise, laugh and have fun!  How:  Students are asked to collect donations from family, friends, and   

neighbors from September 4th­23rd. Supporters can donate any  amount of money, from $1 to $100, just for the student’s  participation in the event!    

2014 Walk­A­Thon Fundraising Goal = $7500!

 * Parents and family members are encouraged to participate in the event, however, you must have an 

approved background check on file with the school.  Please contact the school office for more information regarding background checks.

Walk-A-Thon Prize Program  

Individual Prizes

●  Friendship Bracelets!  Bracelets are awarded at $5, $10, $20, $30, $40 and $50 donation increments.  

 ● The more money you raise, the more bracelets you will get! (up to 6) 

 ● Students may submit prize coupons for bracelets corresponding to the amount 

they have raised on early turn in dates before school:  

Tuesday, September 9th Thursday, September 11th Tuesday, September 16th Thursday, September 18th

 ● All money is due on or before Tuesday, September 23rd.  Please turn in your 

envelope to your classroom teacher. Cash or checks payable to Heritage Elementary PTA. 

 ★ All Students who raise at least $50 will also get to participate in the  Super Soaker Spray of a group of teachers after the Walk­A­Thon!

Classroom Prizes

 ● Top class in each grade will win a popsicle OR popcorn party! 

 ● The top 7 raising classes at Heritage Primary and the top 7 raising classes at 

Heritage Intermediate will each get to choose which crazy costume their Principal and Special Area Teachers will wear for the Walk­A­Thon ­ Princess, Pac­Man, Fred Flintstone, Ghostbusters, Peter Pan, and more!
