While we celebrate women’s natural curve, we believe it doesn’t end there. The infusion of carefully extracted skin care ingredients with our meticulously engineered design enables the enhancement of every woman’s leg shape and skin quality through our appliance of sensu-ous materials and textures—making LELA LOVE the only legwear brand that combines the elements of skin care, fashion, and aesthetics all in one.

LELA LOVE ’s philosophy is that happiness is the highest state of well-being, and this is infused into everything we do—we just want to add a little playful-ness to your everyday life, so that you will look and feel healthy, beautiful and uplifted at all times.

OUR STORY

LELA LOVE was founded by two best friends who have insatiable desire in the style and quality of hosiery. After leaving home for fashion design school from Los Angeles to Milan, Italy, where most of the luxury hosiery originated, they realized pantyhose was more than just accessory, it was a fashion item that could bring pleas-ant surprises to an outfit.

However, most of the hosiery brands in the market could not satisfy their need for quality, which brought them a lot of embarrassing moments. When they returned to Los Angeles, they were further inspired by the hot and dry weather and decided to create a brand to integrate the idea of skin care elements into sensuous materials, LELA LOVE .

How we “Pop! it”

While we celebrate women’s natural curve, we believe it doesn’t end there.

LELA LOVE uses cutting-edge micro-encapsulation technology to bring cosmetic performance to textiles, so to develop state-of-the-art products that make you look and feel fabulous from head to toe, and from the inside and out.

“Our pantyhose and stockings are incorporated with millions of tiny bubbles that contain fine, luxurious and all natural ingredients for skin care. These bubbles are broken by fric-tion, allowing our uniquely formulated beauty essence to be released so that ladies can massage and pamper their skin throughout the day, simply by moving, where they are.”

Our technology

1. Our skincare essence is contained and protected by tiny polymeric microcapsule shells.

2. Using a novel binder system, these microcapsules are fixed onto our products during the finishing process.

3. With friction and movement, such as walking and stretching, the microcapsules gradually break and release skincare ingre-dients onto the skin.

This technology survives multiple washes and dry clean cycles, thereby allowing the benefits of the contents of the micro-capsules to be enjoyed over a long period of time.

Consumer disclaimer: Diminishing with each use as contents are being released, fresh microcapsules may deliver its effects for up to 15 launderings or until otherwise exhausted.

Wash Care Recommendations

Hand wash or machine wash gentle cycle up to 40°C low tumble dry, low iron.

SafetyMicrocapsules have been dermatalogically tested and found to be safe to the skin. The technology has also been eco-tested and passes the Oeko-Tex 100 standard.

Skin Patch Testing

The microencapsulation technology has been tested in a clinical trial

both directly on skin, and by applying it to textiles and then expos-ing those treated textiles to skin.

No clinical evidence of irritation or sensitization was observed in any of the subjects completing any of the studies.

Technology Ingredients

The ingredients and actives satisfy the most current guidelines

published by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). These guidelines on the use of fragrance materials were established fol-lowing a review by the Scientific Committee of IFRA of all Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM), industry, and literature safe-ty data.

Conformity with Oeko-Tex Standard 100

The micro-encapsulation technology has been tested in accordance

with the Shirley Technologies Product EcoTesting Schedule (CPETS). The testing was carried out according to the Oeko-tex Standard 100 and CPETS procedures and requirements.

The product was not found to contain formaldehyde (released), extractable heavy metals, chlorinated phenols or organo-tin com-pounds at concentrations which would fail the aforementioned schedule. The results generated indicate that the product would be suitable for use with Oeko-Tex certified textile products.

DurabilityWith wear and use, the capsules break to release their contents. Dur-ing washing, microcapsules can also be removed from the fabric.

How long the technology survives depends on many aspects. These include the fabric composition of each product, the wash conditions, and the in-use criteria.

Analytically, the presence of microcapsules can still be detected af-ter 35 washes (GC measurement after extraction).
