THE 7 KEYS TO LIVING A RICH LIFE BY CHRISTOPHER HOWARD 1. Follow Your Passion - Do what you love and love what you do, your career or occupation is where you spend more than half of your life. Doing what you love will ensure that you never work a day of your life. Walt Disney said, “We don’t make movies to make money, we make money to make movies.” Most of the world puts it backwards, they get a job and build their lifestyle around it, but your lifestyle is the flavor of your existence. So plan your lifestyle - find your love - and monetize it. 2. Have a Greater Meaning to Your Experience of Life - In Victor Frankle’s book “Man’s Search for Meaning,” he spoke of the people who emotional survived the concentration camps during the holocaust – and according to Frankle, the major differentiating factor between people who survived and those who didn’t was the MEANING that they associated to their experience. Some people had decided that the fact that they were there - meant that life was over and they fell into a state of resignation and defeat, and this is ultimately what tore them down, whereas there were others who decided that the fact that they were there meant that they must overcome and live through the situation in order to ensure that nothing such as that could ever occur on the planet again. What will the meaning be in your life, it could be spiritual, social, or personal. But what is the purpose behind what you do? 3. Live an attitude of gratitude – Your states of mind and emotion are an internal job. “Two men looked out from prison bars, while one saw nothing but mud, the other saw the stars.” What you focus on expands. Gratitude attracts more and even more to be grateful for. Every day train yourself to make lists of all that you're grateful for, and watch that list expand! 4. Mind/Body/Spirit Unity No matter how much in the bank, you can feel rich or poor based on your thinking. If you do not tend to your body temple – no amount of money can rob you of the aches and pains and heavy load that you carry with you. If your spirit is in the gutter everything else will follow. Keep your spirit high, your mind sharp, and your body strong for the most emotionally textured and rich life possible. Train, expand, be athletic - the mind is your house, the body is your temple - and the warrior spirit "bushido" is what will allow you to fall down 4 times and get up 5! 5. Continually Grow to Live in “the Flow State” or “the Zone” – Life is a process of growing. If we’re not growing we’re dying. Life is a process of meeting ever increasing challenges while simultaneously ever increasing our abilities and skills. If you have a level 10 challenge and a level 2 skill level you’ll likely feel anxiety. If you have a level 2 challenge and a level 10 skill level you’ll likely feel boredom. But when you have a level 8 challenge and a level 7 skill level, you feel stretched and challenged in a positive way, as you continue to increase your skills as well as the level of your challenges you can find the most rewarding states where you fall in love with the process of expanding and growing in positive ways. Rise to the challenge in the areas where you choose to grow and polish up your most critical weaknesses until they become your greatest strengths! 6. 1. Follow Your Passion - Do what you love and love what you do, your career or occupation is where you spend more than half of your life. Doing what you love will ensure that you never work a day of your life. Walt Disney said, We dont make movies to make money, we make money to make movies. Most of the world puts it backwards, they get a job and build their lifestyle around it, but your lifestyle is the flavor of your existence. So plan your lifestyle - find your love - and monetize it.

    2. Have a Greater Meaning to Your Experience of Life - In Victor Frankles book Mans Search for Meaning, he spoke of the people who emotional survived the concentration camps during the holocaust and according to Frankle, the major differentiating factor between people who survived and those who didnt was the MEANING that they associated to their experience.

    3. Live an attitude of gratitude Your states of mind and emotion are an internal job. Two men looked out from prison bars, while one saw nothing but mud, the other saw the stars. What you focus on expands. Gratitude attracts more and even more to be grateful for. Every day train yourself to make lists of all that you're grateful for, and watch that list expand!

    4. Mind/Body/Spirit Unity No matter how much in the bank, you can feel rich or poor based on your thinking. If you do not tend to your body temple no amount of money can rob you of the aches and pains and heavy load that you carry with you.

  • accomplishment. Find a peer group that will hold you to higher standards than you'd ever hold yourself in terms of directions you choose to take your life.

    7. Its Never a Question of Resources its Always a Question of Resourcefulness No matter what it is that you want to accomplish in life. The commitment to the goal comes before the means of making it happen. Setting the commitment is like plugging the key word into the search engine of life, and gives the direct command to the unconscious mind to begin sorting for or looking for all of the means to make that goal happen. Those can only appear on the screen of life, once the command has been given. Make commitments, in alignment with your passions and that stem from your heart that stretch you so that you have to become the person who can make them happen!
