Medical Gas and Electrical Rail can be installed over architectural feature as shown in previous slide.


Medical Gas and Electric Rail Installation Steps

The Gas Rail is placed at the specified height per submittal documents and then secured to the backer plat through the drywall with ¼” self tapping sheet metal screws



Gas stub out connect to Medical Gas Rail pipes



Electrical wires should be pulled clear of the gas Rail section both above in the J-Boxes and below at the light rough-in



The electrical raceway is then placed on top of the gas rail and also screwed in to the backer plate. Insert light bulbs and make final connections behind the center electrical panel
