CAMP GOAL #1: MAKE NEW FRIENDS

YMCA DAY CAMPSThere is no place like Y Day Camp. For some kids it is a second home where they can learn, laugh, play and grow. Kids will play and create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Our “professional role models” are selected based on their experience, attitude, skills and enthusiasm.

The Y is committed to the healthy development of kids through a broad range of activities that instill positive values and build self-confidence while instilling the Y’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

PARENTS LOVE US SAFETY The safety of our children continues to be our foremost goal. All staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.

DAILY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY Campers engage in 60 minutes of continuous, daily physical play including group games, sports and individual challenges.

ZERO SCREEN TIME Campers do not engage in watching movies, television or computer activity unless the activity is educational in nature.

HEALTHY OPTIONS We provide kids the opportunity to make healthy choices and provide activities focused on becoming a healthier individual.

KIDS LOVE US TOO! FUN Each week kids will explore a weekly theme which will include crafts, games and more!

FIELD TRIPS Our older campers take a weekly field trip to fun and exciting places.

MORE FUN! All campers have the opportunity to go swimming at either our Beloit branch pool or the outdoor pool in Rockton.

LITERACY ACTIVITES Camp schedules set aside time to prevent summer learning loss by engaging campers in summer reading, creative writing and other activities to maintain their skills level.
