you feel more comfortable having your infant with you during the

service( the last row in the Auditorium will be reserved for %arents with

small children. There is a %rivate room for nursing mothers across the

hall from the Auditorium with a rocking chair( changing table and

%ortable crib. )or your convenience( it also includes a monitor to

enable you to still hear and view the service.

A Terrifying Truth

One author writes, In 1883 Captain Sampson of the British navywitnessed one of the greatest volcanic eruptions in history whichtook place in Indonesia. The eruption was so powerful that itsshock waves traveled around the world seven times. The volcanoshot miles of debris into the atmosphere which fell to earth as faraway as Madagascar over 2,000 miles distance. CaptainSampson wrote in the ships log: I am writing this blind in pitchdarkness. We are under continual rain of pumice-stone and dust.

So violent are the explosions that the ear-drums of over half mycrew have been shattered ... I am convinced that the Day ofJudgment has come.

These men witnessed something extraordinary, and it causedthem to ponder the inevitable question is this the end? Whatwas the crew thinking and feeling as they were deafened by themassive explosions, and blinded by the clouds of smoke and

ash? To them it must have been as if the sun had become like

sackcloth! Did this experience change their lives? Were theynow powerfully aware of how fragile life is? Did they suddenlybegin to examine what their lives had consisted of up to thatmoment?

Imagine yourself in that boat as these events are taking place.Now picture yourself at the present moment ... are you thinkingabout what your life has been about, or what it is now? Are youthinking about what it could be?? (George Witten)

In the book of Zephaniah, the little unknown prophet shares a

message, a cry for repentance and revival that was intended toshake the hearers to the core. His obscure words are just asgripping today.
