Think you’re an impostor?That’s okay.
So does everyone else.
The academic job market is shitty.
Make peace with that.
Apply for things.Don’t reject yourself before you even start.
Reach out. This is hard for some people and that’s okay.
It’s important, though.
Perfectionism must die.Don’t be afraid to finish.
Learn other things.Whatever you’re interested in that you’re not already doing.
Live your life. It’s okay to have one.
Live your life. It’s great to have one.
Take care of yourself. This is the most important thing.
Everybody feels like an impostor sometimes. Be realistic about the job market. Rejections are normal. Don’t reject yourself: apply for things. Reach out, even if it’s hard. Perfectionism must die. Keep learning & follow your interests. Have a life. Really. Take care of yourself. People first, then science.
