• To promote pedestrian and bicycle safety to USF students, faculty and staff.
• To promote awareness of pedestrian and bicycle laws.
• To reduce pedestrian and bicycle related crashes at USF and its surrounding area.

• Each year, Florida’s pedestrian and bicycle fatality rate is ranked among the highest in the U.S.
• In 2013, Hillsborough County alone saw 529 pedestrian total crashes512 bicycle total crashes485 pedestrian injuries482 bicyclist injuries 32 pedestrian fatalities11 bicyclist fatalities
• 32 pedestrian and bicycle related crashes within a 1.5 mile radius around and including the USF Tampa campus.

• Observed behavior and collected surveys both before and after the campaign
